So I finally got my hands on some Steam Credit. I got my childhood game, but I want like 20 other games and I'm not sure if they'll ever go on sale. Among those are Binding of Isaac, SimCity 4, and Pillars of Eternity. Should I wait for summer sales or just buy at least some of these?

And another question: What's the best way to get free Steam Credit without going to the store and buying a card?

Yes, you should always wait for sales, unless you really have nothing else to play. It sucks to buy a game only to find out if you'd waited a month you would get -75% or more off ;D

NEver buy a game outside of sale unless you want to start p;laying it this very moment. Chances are that before you will start playing it it will go on sale - not even summer sale, but weekly, weekend etc. And if it doesn't by the time you want start playing it you lose nothing, you pay the same amount you'd pay in the first place.

Also BoI and SimCity 4 has seen numerous sale so far, BoI was even bundled, so ytou may try to trade for it, but the cahnces are high that these will go on sale in near future again. Pillarsd is a new game so don't get your hopes high - it probably will go on 10-15% sale, but don't expect big discount on it yet.

Dont buy a game full price ... unless you are desperate to play it right now...
And even then its kinda questionable idea .

If its just stuff you want to play in the future w8 for a sale ...
Summer sale is right round the corner , so i bet ya atleast a couple of the games in your wishlist will get sale :)

Its very rare that i buy from Steam nowadays, almost every other online game store can beat the prices on Steam and when steam have a sale, even a big one, the stores still seem to be able to match or beat the prices.

You should wait for sales, you can use this website for steam games : https://steamdb.info/sales/

it also shows the cheapest the game as gone 2., just add the games you would like on your wishlist and you will get a email when it goes on sale

Hey!

Click on the "Trades" section of this website (completly up there on the side). Many games that you said you want are bundled and thus even cheaper than in sales.

if the one game you bought can't tide you over until summer sales then buy another one, just pay attention to the daily deals.
BOI was on sale a few weeks ago. You could always try to trade for them on steamtrades

Yep, the only way to legitimately get Steam wallet funds is to sell items like trading cards, and whatever else they sell in the Community Market (like DOTA items.)

DEFINITELY wait for the Summer Sale -- That's what I'm doing ;D
