Again? The first one and the second one were already WW2 if I remember well. I really liked CoD II back in the day by the way...

Yes but they were more than 12 years ago

call of duty 5 was also based on ww2, so this is their 4th ww2 cod

How man cods exist?
14 or so (console exklusives counted in)?
So it would still be less than 50% of the cod games playing in ww2....

Interesting perspective. I'd view it as 'almost half their games are already ww2'... plus the amount of ww2 games in existence in the world is really, really ridiculous compared to every other conceivable theme.

Zombie theme is also kinda off the chart.

if we count them all, then this would be their 7th or 8th ww2 cod i think, too lazy to double check for exact number.

They create a futuristic game, you complain and demand games with WW2 theme. They do so and you again complain for oversaturation and the vast amount of similar themed games already existing. Decide already! Just admit that nothing the company will ever do will satisfy you and stop there.

Maybe ... next time they will do a good game ... then no one will ever say something about the theme !

Comment has been collapsed.

Then complain about the game not being good and not the theme itself? I highly doubt that the game would be any better with a different theme, if it indeed is bad. Just saying.

Complaining over anything a company does, simply because they won't do exactly what you want them to do, is somewhat pathetic. Constructive criticism is what companies need as feedback and none of this is.

Sorry to say this but you are ignorant if you believe Activision will give a fuck about your opinion !

I complained about COD not being good at all in general ... did you read what I said !
Constructive criticism is what companies need as feedback ... but reality contradicts you they need just more money ... nothing else !
And I know this because I have a master degree in E-business so what they need and what you think they need are two distinct things !

What you said means that you complain about the theme because you don't find the game good. You probably don't even understand what you type.

Sorry to say this but you are ignorant if you believe Activision will give a fuck about your opinion !

If you really think that companies don't give a fuck about PR, i'm sorry, but you are the naive one here.

Constructive criticism is what companies need as feedback ... but reality contradicts you they need just more money ... nothing else !

How do you think they get that money, out of thin air? Activision got to the position they today are simply because they were creating great games that corresponded to the buyers' desires. Only way they can define what we as buyers want is through criticism that is done right and not just pure hatred.

And I know this because I have a master degree in E-business so what they need and what you think they need are two distinct things !

They need the first one to achieve the other. Pointing your studies at me is just pointless, simply 'cause you can be a complete retard for all I know (I'm not implying you are). As if a degree made you the all wise one out of sudden.

Have a nice day.

No I don't it seams that I don't FFS ... do you believe the COD games are good ?

PR doesn't mean that they will give a fuck of an opinion of an individual like yourself like marketing is to sell something not necessary of good quality like for example the COD games ... !

Really when you do the same shit all over again is called now qulity games , inovation is done for the consumar not by the consumers ,,, then do the criticism that you like you as an individual are just a tiny grain and will be ignored !

Nop little one education doesn't give wisdom but only information ... I only said that I know the base to make an objective claim that is all ... be positive an think that companies like Ubisoft that I worked will give a rats ass about you as an individual the only motto of an company is to make not money but to make more money !

No I don't it seams that I don't FFS ... do you believe the COD games are good ?

When did I ever imply that they are good or how on earth is that in any way relevant to what I've said?

PR doesn't mean that they will give a fuck of an opinion of an individual like yourself like marketing is to sell something not necessary of good quality like for example the COD games ... !

That's exactly what PR is. A group of people that makes noise consists of individuals like me, or anyone else for that matter. To sell something of poor quality you have to have sold an item of good quality beforehand, the same thing they did.

Really when you do the same shit all over again is called now qulity games , inovation is done for the consumar not by the consumers ,,, then do the criticism that you like you as an individual are just a tiny grain and will be ignored !

The same way criticism for Batman: Arkham Knight, No Man's Sky and multiple other titles was ignored right?

Nop little one education doesn't give wisdom but only information ... I only said that I know the base to make an objective claim that is all ... be positive an think that companies like Ubisoft that I worked will give a rats ass about you as an individual the only motto of an company is to make not money but to make more money !

Considering that you are stating your opinion, it automatically makes it a subjective statement, hence not a fact. You don't say? Companies are only after money? Who would have thought so. The way for Ubisoft and every Ubisoft out there to earn money was by creating a good product which they did back in the days, hence their big name nowadays. Companies that create awful products from the beginning and don't try to improving them through the feedback, die out.

I'm out, I've said what I had to say. It's not up to you whether you wanna take these into account or not, the next time you try to phrase an opinion.

I didn't know there was exosuits in WW2. On a more serious note, if I had a console I would possible be somewhat excited, will have to see how the launch goes and what the pc community looks like.

But maybe we will have a good campaign this time. First COD games where great for the story missions.

Maybe the success of Battlefield 1, set during WWI, inspired them to go back in time, except not that far back to anything actually new, just back to what they've already done before. So, remake. Still refreshing after all the futuristic stuff. Plus, they already went to space; they can't go much further into the future.

Would be nice to see CoD and BF just keep going back in time, in the vein of BF1... 19th century... Napoleonic Wars... 1600s... all FPS. Then you run into the Middle Ages and Chivalry already got there first.

Battlefield 1 was barely WWI and people rightfully criticized them for that. It's Battlefield 4 with a "vintage" skin. Not even a WWI skin.
The game has nothing to really do with WWI other than the game saying that "it's totes WWI, guys!"

The success of BF1 probably didn't do squat. Their games are developed for 3 years at a time, not like Dice's games, which are developed for around 9-12 months, so it's hard to imagine that they had anything to do with it.
