Gifting games I don't play anymore?

Hi all,

There are several games I just simply don't (and won't) play anymore and I was wondering if it is possible to gift them.
Are Steam games always linked to your account? Even when you don't have them installed on your computer anymore?

Really hope this is possible, I'd rather make someone happy with those games than having them in my library for nothing...

FAQ
Please note you cannot gift games from your Steam library. They are permanently attached to your account and not giftable.
