Rising Stiorm Vietnam
Rainbowe Six Siege

It pretty much depends on what you like to play.

R6:Siege for instance is about class-based gameplay with their own operator with special skills. Think of it like playing CS:GO detonation gameplay/VIP escort. Also, unlocking operators can be a pain in the ass if you buy starter edition.

However, if you prefer Rising Storm, it's similar to that of playing Battlefield or CoD

Rising Storm is too hard and unrewarding.
Siege all the way. Get it now or later, it might have another, a 4th, free to play weekend before or during the next expansion in may or so, i dunno, could be a good time to try it out before buying by then. Just DONT BUY THE STARTER EDITION. Seriously.

Siege is closed quarters, small teams, no respawns, single-headshot kills, high stakes, a very focused and concentrated experience.
Rising Storm is open areas, large teams, frequent respawns, an atmosphere closer to large-scale infantry conflict.

I prefer Siege, but Rising Storm is very interesting, too.

Yeah, depends if you want small 5 vs 5 games or large scale Battlefield-style battles. I was a big fan of Battlefield since Battlefield 1942 but lately been preferring the smaller, more tactical Siege battles. That being said, I have been wanting a good Vietnam game for a while and RSV is near top of my wishlist :p

They are both nice but really different, so... both !

the humble tier 3 is a great deal and siege starter edition is cheap too during sales*

There is some next level guerrilla marketing behind the starter edition, it's actually an amazing deal for ~8€ but you'll find a lot of kids screaming "omg scam ! it's bad don't buy !!111!"

Siege all the way, just got Vietnam from the HB and enjoy it! its a good game for sure but siege will last you a lot longer. After 900 hours im still not tired of it while vietnam can annoy or bore me quite fast. It comes down to personal preference of course but id go for siege :)

Haven't played neither, but I'll say meh to both.

I was considering buying Rainbow Six Siege during the previous sale, but gave up from it because it seems like a camp-fest (which is not that surprising considering the goals of its main mode), which is something I don't like in online shooters. Also small teams is off-putting as well, as I prefer more players per match.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam has many things that put me off. All of the maps seem to look samey due to all of them being in... well Vietnam. I prefer games with good variety when it comes to map themes. Another issue is that you have to use iron sights on all non-sniper weapons; I personally dislike iron sights in most shooters and prefer dot sights.

Both games have more cons than that, but those were the biggest deal breakers for me.

Why don't you play Insurgency? I see you have it in your library, it's a great game, albeit it could use a bigger playerbase.
