Hey,

I have a question to all of the Saints Row 4 Coop players out there.

When playing Saints Row 3, I ended up starting a new character with my friend, because I didn't want to be over powered during the game and ruin the experience for him. I ended up not having as much fun because I had to collect cars, upgrade weapons, and it made it very difficult to achieve some of the achievements because I started from scratch again.

My question:

When playing coop with my friend in SR4, should I start a new character, or continue the one I am currently playing? I want to try and get all of the challenges completed, this requires a lot of killing, and if I can play the game again in coop, this would make life easier.

Will this ruin the game for my friend? Since he will be the one starting a new game? Will all of my unlocked powers ruin it?

Thanks!

i've only played in SR3 so idk about SR4, but i think you should keep playing with your player but try not to use all ur best items/vehicles.
unless of course, your friend is fine with you using an upgraded car to get somewhere faster with him.
but agian, its only my opinion....

I've not played SR4 in coop, but the way it's set up you can get pretty overpowered for the open world/activities about 30-45 minutes into the game, and for the story-specific segments you'll get depowered anyway. So restarting a new toon from scratch shouldn't be a big deal I think.

Keep your character with best weapons/items etc. and just tease him from time to time, but when it's about doing missions and stuff, use normal weapons, and maybe let him do more of the work ;)
