It was hilarious last time, as links were thrown everywhere around me and my friends like some kind of pyramid scheme, while in the end none of us got more than like 2 euros because of cross-linking restrictions (though we still managed to grab a couple good games with that, saved us enough for a baguette or two I guess). I look forward to doing it once more.

I'll give a try to this if still working.
Edit: Only FR PayPal accounts.

!!!! THANK YOU !!!!
I had deleted this e-mail as unimportant (I hate the PayPal ad spam), but luckily still had it in my bin. Now, off to shop!
For others having done the spam option: the email is titled "Pay with PayPal and Enjoy a Discount on eBay", I received mine on the 13th.

paypal-referral.com... lol... PayPal truly is the WORST comapany when it comes to fishing/fraud protection. They educate their users to click on links in mails to their website and enter their PayPal credentials with their "Your monthly overview - click here" emails. They use a new a domain for any new feature or idea they have, eg paypal-gifts.com, paypal-prepaid.com, paypal-referral.com, etc, so that a user will not even think it's fishy when he's lured to a website that claims to be PayPal but is not paypal.com. And they are a god damn PAYMENT service. They handle our money!
Btw, if you are bored, go check out the 2,551 domains owned by PayPal . There are some true gems, like like paypal.porn and paypal-dostuffformoney.com
@topic: not french, so not interesting for me

I know, that's what I mean. PayPal uses methods that are widely used by fishers and scammers, which is contrary to commonly taught fishing protection techniques - like dont follow a link you got via email and enter ypur credentials; always check the url to ensure you are not lured to a wrong webste. That leads to users being not able to tell the difference WHEN they encounter a scam.

Like almost every year, Steam and Paypal are working together to offer 2€ for its users (it was 5€ last year, dammit).
Really easy to understand:
This offer is only possible in France and is official. Here is a link to the ToS of the program. You can check that the site is an official Paypal site by checking the SSL certificate.
I think this offer is quite interesting, that's why I'm posting it again but removing all referral information and encouraging people to share this privately amongst their friends. DO NOT POST YOUR REFERRAL LINK ON THE STEAMGIFTS FORUMS OR YOU MIGHT GET BANNED. If you're French, you should have enough friends in your Steam account. If not (forever alone?) just check if this has been discussed in any french related Steam group, I'm sure they've organized something for this event to share your referral links.
