Thank you! Ahahah, wow, I didn't really know that youtube offered videos of train travels!
The Bernina express is indeed quite near to me, thus I will probably try it in the coming years, to have a trip to Switzerland ;)

your train name attracted me here :p i love agatha christie's novels! did you watch the movie for the orient express too? theres also a point and click steam game based off one of her novels on steam, The ABC Murders, you should definitely check that out if you havent :)

id say its decent, but if you were going to try it out, its best if youve not read the novel yet.. theres a particular bit that the game is lacking in terms of the original plot which i was expecting to happen since ive read the novel prior, but it just skipped to the end! cant say i wasnt disappointed, but the game itself despite that lack in the plot is already worth 2-digit hours of gameplay, so i wouldnt say its too bad either.

Hi! I like them too, but I haven't read all of them yet. Yes, I watched it, and I really enjoyed the movie, Kenneth Branagh is such a good actor, and the moustache was amazing :P Thanks for the suggestion: I saw sometimes that title on Steam, but I didn't really investigate it, I didn't know it was really based on her novel... Now I will add it to my wishlist! :D

Welcome. but am confused. All I get is a picture of an actor in front of a train. Am I missing something? Thanks anyway.

Thank you! That is a little joke involving Kenneth Branagh's Poirot.
You should have a second look to the post, even the "hidden" part.

Hello everyone! After a couple of weeks spent learning how SG works, I'm here in order to introduce myself properly. I see that this nice community likes trains, thus creating one seemed the best way to do it. I also want to build a nice train, to celebrate the fact that this autumn I will start my PhD fellowship in Physics!!! :D And finally I will start to have a budget :P
Well, getting back to trains... I really like going on holidays and traveling by trains, this is a kind of journey that has a special charm, especially on some particular routes. You can see amazing landscapes passing by, and meet different people.
The Orient Express is on my holidays-to-do-list: it crosses so many different lands and cultures, it really stimulates my imagination. But maybe I'm also influenced by the book written by Agatha Christie.
What do you think about trains? Do you like them? Did you have any interesting/adventurous experience traveling around the world? Is there any route you totally advise to take?
Here is the link to the train. I hope you'll enjoy it!
