The person who made the giveaway used illegal bank cards to buy the copies. Therefore the game was revoked because they weren't actually paid. That must be it.

The first is fine if that happened. Removing a game from the store isn't a valid reason for revoking keys Though. Claimed a key when I was at wor, will see what happens with it when I get home.
