On steam 90% it's usually means games that are then 1-2 euro, on GOG somehow it's usually 4-5 still.
Or the really cheap stuff being DLC.

GOG is great but not for it's discounts/sales.

You're making it sound as if 90% off on GOG is different from 90% off on Steam. 90% is 90% though. If you take 90% off of a game that usually costs 10-20€ then, of course, it'll cost 1-2€ at 90% off but if a game usually costs 40-50€ then it'll be 4-5€ at 90% off no matter where it's sold. I mean, paying 5€ for a 50€ is just as good of a deal as paying 1€ for a 10€ game. :D

I kind of feel like you just wanted to state that GOG usually doesn't seem to have interesting/good deals during their sales but the wording of the first part just threw me off. xD

Yeah okay and steam also has 94% discounts and the likes which makes some games very attractive what GOG would not have, and well usually those that are 90% on GOG are what i said DLC or crappy games.

So yes you are right with that is what i wanted to state they don't have interesting/good deals, i think the thing is i read it a couple of times GOG 90% sale, summer sale too and then you look and you just can't find nothing to buy.
And i am coming from GOG before i came to steam (it's a thing there that steam is a drm devil full of spyware and such which i also believed at that time).

"those that are 90% on GOG are what i said DLC or crappy games"
I agree usually games on Gog are a little more expensive but if you see gg.deals, historical lows in games are almost always the same for both stores. I don't remember seeing many AAA games at 90 off on steam either.

"you look and you just can't find nothing to buy"
Children of Morta, Divinity Original Sin II, Darksiders Genesis, Hellblade, Bloodstained, Disco Elysium... If you don't find nothing to buy it's on you.

"it's a thing there that steam is a drm devil full of spyware and such which i also believed at that time"
I use more the Steam community than Gog and I can tell you that there is the same percent of toxic users in both. In steam the EPIC SHIT is everywhere, which is esentially the same. So trolls are in every place (I think that the problem is that in the gaming community exists a great deal of toxicity)
And well, I prefer the DRM Free policy a thousand times than Steam or other stores if you ask me (but I use almost every platform out there)

But there are many many bundles with steam keys that makes such games even more cheaper, GOG used to do it too for a short time, why should i get a game double especially when you got GOG Connect?
But there are GOG games that steam doesn't have it, and i would have an interest in, but i am careful with my money and i rarely spend more then <10 on a game, 20 in a very very few cases, but even then i go like i better get it on steam for achievements.
Bloodstained i got gifted by a good friend, but those you are just not gonna find for <5 euro, correct? so yeah there is plenty of games but not for suitable prices.
Also you sites like g2a and kinguin if you seeking some cheaper games.

On the GOG forums there is 0% moderation, people can up or downrep and there are secret groups whenever they don't like you or are even slightly of a different opinion they will hunt your posts down to really downrep you, what made me come here. Atleast you don't have that so much on steam.

I agree fully on the downrep part, I hate that mechanic in reddit or gog. It doesn't help in any way to moderate the community. Stating an opinion against the majority and being targeted by down reps is stupid to me.
And yeah, I agree that the bundles are what make our steam accounts so full of games xD I end swapping games though, not too fond of grey markets.

I'm considering Streets of Rogue, Tower 57, Nine Parchments, or Stardew Valley...

Does anyone know if these can be played multiplayer over LAN, with a single GOG copy? I'll probably get 1, regardless, but I still want to ask.

Thanks!

Well it's drm free so one could just copy and install that over as many places, as long as it doesn't require any serial which i doubt.
Still a bit the same as pirating, unless i am misunderstanding.

Oh, I only own 12 of those on GOG yet and Divinity is so very tempting. Got to cut down on buying games though...

Edit: To make it easier to check which games you have where if you have your libraries synced: https://gg.deals/deal/gog-we-love-games-sale/
