I got a bit of money and I don't want to buy any games right now, but I'm too stupid to save it. I'd like to buy relatively cheap headphones, possibly ~20$. I heard that a model called Media-Tech Libero MT3559 is pretty nice for the price, but I'd like to know if there are other good options.

The best budget headphones are the Samson SR850. I have a pair of those. They're cheap, but sound like $200 headphones. And no, that's not a joke:

Might be hard to find though.

I currently don't have that much to spare, but if they're this good, I think I'll try to save money for these.

You can get them from Ebay for 40 shipped from best-friend-music, not a bad deal.

Keep in mind though that the budget-market boomed thanks to China and the thread is three years old - which means, some good new budget headphones were released. Also, people on head-fi always tend to exaggerate a little, so you might not want to take everything for granted ;)
Not that the SR850 aren't good though, nice choice.

I got a pair on newest.con from a brand called eagle. They were $30 and sound really good. Really great bass for a cheap pair.

If you're dead set on $20, JVC Flats are pretty good. They are available on Amazon for $12 in some colors right now.

However, they are relatively fragile so be careful not to drop them.

You need headphones or headsets? Because what you referred are headsets, not headphones. I recommend you buying a decent ones, sadly for 20$ there is not any if you care about good quality sound, if that ones that RealNC says are really that good for 50$, buy them, 50$ is not expensive.

I'll second the opinion, that reasonable headphones start at 50$. But then again, maybe you don't care or don't hear the difference. Just go to some place you can listen to a few models and make your own opinion.

Apart from the ones RealNC recommends, I'll add Superlux HD660 and Creative Aurvana Live.

You'd have to be deaf to not hear the difference. Btw, the Aurvana Live! sounds fairly similar, if not a bit worse then the monoprice - the cheaper one has more impact and a tad more detail.
And I would'nt drive the 660s without a decent amp, which he probably doesn't have.

Koss UR-20. Cheap, sound good, isolating, HUGE cans that are completely over the ear and comfortable foreeeeever, super long and extremely durable cord. Koss has lifetime guarantees on all their headphones too.

Headsets are a ripoff never buy them, if you need a microphone just get these cheap clip ons, 3 of them for $6, its all you need.

i agree with logan5, i've had my koss ur-19 headphones for over 5 years and absolutely love them. when they wear out, i'll get a ur-29 because i like the in-line adjustable volume control and long cord length.

yeah I've had much more expensive headphones that haven't lasted a 1/4 of the time I've had these, they are sturdy as hell!

to be honest a friend of mine told me that he has been using a really cheap non microphone headset and with it he has this microphone:

He said that the microphone quality is more than amazing. Just a heads up! good luck!

Tascam TH-02 are relatively recommended in this price range. I would save for Koss Porta Pro as entry level.
