Fun Action Packed Shooters?

I really need a new shooter, I got sick of CoD and BF3 is worthless with no premium, but with premium it's just a rip-off.

I was thinking Rising Storm? I heard about Katanas and Flamethrowers and boy, that sounds like fun. It's just not as cheap as I expected it to be.

Basically, I want a multiplayer game with lots of action, preferrably 1st or 3rd person, not stuff like Hotline Miami...

Yes I can confirm Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm is good and fun, once you get used to it (because it's very different to BF3 for example) I think (hope) you will enjoy it. There's no others I know of. Actually if frustration is fun for you, try CS:GO. (how can that be idk)

Hotline Miami was an example for Top Down. I don't want top down games. Read a bit more of the sentence before commenting.
