No more weekly music puzzles, i am on a tight budget, groceries are so expensive (and anything else) but what first started as a joke from my mom, i think in ways it might also be a way to get a bit over the whole germphobia thing (litterbox, their butt on stuff like the sofa) and giving me companionship.
And i was still in a thinking phase, but she send me a clip of possible kittens to pick from, and offcourse you gonna melt, and i think i might get one, she would also help financially to purchase one and get things setup.
But because of many in and outgoing transactions at the moment i don't have a clear picture yet, but i think most likely that means i have to sacrifice on other things, like games, most likely no more choice too when it ends. But i think it will be worth the sacrifice.

I am still staying here offcourse, so not going anywhere and i do still got some leftovers, but i have to try not to add much new stuff anymore.

The way I solved this issue myself was to set up a prepaid card as game exclusive. I charge the amount I plan to spend on games seasonally, and once it's gone, it's gone. No games until the next season. This made me much more careful and picky about what I buy.

I thought you used to go to a shelter, pick one and everyone is happy. But here it becomes like a job interview, they find it has to click, then you go home and get back again, you might have to talk to a vet, they got wishes like cats that have to have a garden or play pals.

Then you go to kittens but what they have 4 were brothers/sisters and they prefer to give them away by 2.

Where my mom got her two cats, it's 50 euro, it's just stuff like shots and getting them castrated that can be 400 euro.
Here big companies are taking over the vets, and jack up the prices which makes it very hard (or impossible) to always afford giving your pet the needed care.

wow, it sorta makes sense that they have to do sth like that, but it's also somewhat counterproductive to have that lvl of a bureaucratic process. it's an obvious thing that if the cat and the person don't get along that person would bring the cat back. I just hope the kittens have those same gardens and whatnot that they require from the people to have to get one! anyway, hope you and the kitten u pick become best buddies as then you can play local coop all the time :)

Pretty much how it happens in my country. Is it really like this in shelters as well for you? As this sounds extremely like those no good animal breeders, which in existence should never be supported. Since shelters are filled with animals they always throw them after people and try to look for anyone willing to take them on.

We actually got a cat by simply adopting one that ended up lost in our house. Spent a day or two around the house and once we realized no one is coming to claim her, we just took her to the vet, had a passport made, had shots done and sterilized her. All in all something around 150 eur. even less.

Guess your shelter works very different from here.
Here you do fill in a form and they do check if the animal fits, like if it really needs a garden and you don't have one and if it can be with kids or animals or whatever is important, besides that you check them out and if it clicks you can take it with you right away and are done... since Corona they did work with appointments, not sure if that is still a thing or not, but having to come back and stuff like that before you can adopt is not happening here. They do that for dogs but not for cats.

Edit: also checked the price and an older cat is €160 and a kitten is €175 if you get it from the shelter here, but for that money they are checked, chipped, fixed (if not a kitten), etc.

I think that's exactly the same as how i described it? ;) https://dierenhulpverleningwoerden.nl/adoptieprocedure/

No i mean i believe in the past you could just go to a shelter, pick an animal and you immediately take it home with you.
But i never been to one as my mom always made me believe she was allergic (even though we always had a cat before i was born) but it was a feisty cat that even attacked dogs, so my parents got rid of it because of me. I only been to one once because a friends mom wanted to adopt something.
When my dad died she suddenly took two cats in. :o

Then I didn't understand this part correct ' they find it has to click, then you go home and get back again, you might have to talk to a vet' since here you tell them a few things in a form, check out an animal and if it fits you can take it home right away, no go home and get back again, no talk to a vet, but if a cat needs a garden and you don't have one they won't let you take that, but unless it changed lately, it was always pretty fast and easy if you were lucky they had a cat you clicked with ^^

So, temporarily allergic I guess, sad that because of that you didn't grow up with cats, glad later on she decided to get them again since cats can be great to have, I loved all my cats that I had and had multiple from the shelter as well :3

I had fishes i was happy with though, but the aquarium got hit twice with a disease that killed my fish. :x And i always used to let my dad clean it which in the end he said i am not doing it anymore and the 2 remaining goldfish went into the outside pond of the old neighbour, until one day, all his fish got stolen.

But yeah it doesn't compare to a cat or dog. I hope offcourse my mom will be a 100 and that i eventually move to a bigger place, but (especially now) live is so uncertain, i mean getting a (newly build) apartment alone some would already commit a murder fot, but i might also end up with my moms 2 indoor cats, why i can't give this one a playmate.
3 is already much but hopefully doable, but 4 would just be impossible in this place and financially.

It's also a system in our country where wellfare sometimes you are even better off then with a job, and if i did find a job it most likely won't be a high paying one, so i would go backwards (losing toeslagen) too which isn't an incentive.

I had fish as well, fun for a bit but then well, I got bored with them and when I only had 1 left I put it on a pond in someones yard.
His fish being stolen is... damn!

3 cats already sounds like a lot, not just by how crowded it is when not having a big place, but that will also be expensive and good luck if all likes attention! I had max 2 cats at the same time and that is already a lot, but doable if the place is big enough and such.

Sadly when I had to work for my government aid (bijstand) people got warned by coworkers to only get a job if it paid way more, if it would just be a bit above government aid, chances are you end up with less money on the end of the month and yes it's good to get out of the aid, but even then, it's sad to work a lot of hours and then get less for it, working should be rewarding money wise!

Yeah and i know koi karpers can be worth a bunch and that happens, but don't remember that he had any (we talking about 20 years ago).

Well my mom was always okay with them joining in bed or the sofa (for reasons she usually sleeps on the sofa at night) even on your lap i find it a "thing" with my germphobia as they don't exactly wipe, but it are things, i hope to get over it.
But they definitely never going to get in my bed, couch will be fine though (and yes even that's already a thing for me :p).

Yeah just one of the many many bad decisions our government makes, but if you do choose to stay in wellfare in the end you only create a gap for yourself that makes it harder to still get a "proper" job, even working in a warehouse i thought that would be doable, but i applied to one and they said do know we make 14000 steps a day, i was like wow (didn't get hired, even though they said you could learn on the job and they had people with autism and i worked with them before so that wasn't an issue).

I don't always handle germs well either, but for me it's not THAT bad and I grew up with animals so am used to having them so they don't bother me, my cat sleeps on my bed but he doesn't come at the head part, mostly against my legs and am fine with that, though he is just so sweet and cute that I can handle a lot of him ^^

For me finding a regular job is something that will most likely never happen, I did add all my government aid jobs to my CV but yeah, better to do volunteer work or whatever then nothing since the bigger the gap the harder it can get again and indeed companies often say you can learn on the job but then ending up hiring someone with more experience anyway, sadly that's often how it goes but one day you get lucky, am sure you will!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

And often when they want experienced people you get no way of ever getting that particular experience.
I don't know if it's ever in the cards for me either anymore, also physically, a majority of my jobs always been part time, i think 5 days will be too much, but also because the whole corona i got another gap, i was working at a place to get experience, they had all sorts of things even making packaging and putting cheese in them, but i worked myself to the IT section, they usually got a few pc's from donations and give them to people in need, but i said lets advertise this, so we made flyers, went to companies and we got swamped with pc's!

But my coworker was aggresive (verbally mostly but another person that worked there and was the friend of the other already quit too because of him), later i found out he has a warrant out, and when corona started he and the boss were like oh corona is just like the flu you know, but the place was so small you couldn't avoid eachother. Also he made a promise that he would get everyone eventually a real job, but some worked there (so for free) for 3 years, i am like yeah i am not buying this anymore.

So when the first wave was about over, i was going to a similar place but then another wave came in and you know the rest.

If someone were to offer me a job and say hey look i got this for you, offcourse i'd grab it, and i check the ads in the local paper (which usually i don't fit the bill as it's sales or mechanical work) but not really active in searching.

to bad your old job ended like that since you don't sound to negative about it besides that 1 coworker, but sadly stuff like that can happen and coworkers can really ruin a job!

You would think that finding a job now would be easy since every company complains they don't have enough workers, but in reality it's never that black and white since they can still have a huge list of requirements which are often enough not even that realistic and have the idea some companies are fine with not having enough workers since... less workers means less pay and not their problem that other people suffer from that...

Comment has been collapsed.

Well yeah aside from that the boss also wasn't known to actually move people towards an actual job (it was all volunteer stuff so for him free labor). I had more occasions when there was something with a coworker, and if you are last to come in, you are first to go out offcourse, but i was very proud that i achieved there what i did, and i got some entrepeneur skills in me.
Like Starbucks, before they came here, i already had that idea, was this close on a joint business adventure but i didn't had the capital and the other person just didn't dare to risk her house in the end, and now? Starbucks is doing great here.
But i got similar ideas, but still no funds, nor the drive/energy anymore i think, let me put it this way, crisis or not people will always need food and thus it will sell.

Companies sort of prefer you to have 20 years of experience and be 20 years old (cheaper) i know that's not possible but that's sort of the impossibility they are looking for yeah, everyone wants experienced people, but you can't get it.

Also i failed my drivers license 6 times (and that's also a big money hole) if i had my license i could go to places you can't go by bike or public transports or go to companies to fix things, with my papers i was offered a job two times if only i had my license.. But the little money i have i am not gonna risk trying for it again now, it's better to use for more needed stuff.

I remember my ex also working for his government aid and then being able to get a diploma for shop assistant and they said guaranteed job!! as soon as he got his diploma he got kicked out... I mean sure free diploma but still felt very sour... so yeah, stuff like that sucks when they promise stuff they won't keep.

I tried a few driving lessons, noticed it's not for me, my autism makes me notice everything which is bad, aside from that I have a lot of sleeping issues which can be dangerous if you are exhausted for a long time and with the speed you go, I am way to afraid others screw up since no matter how good a driver you are, usually others are the problem so after a few lessons I gave up since I knew high chance I would never make it and can't afford all that and even if I magically could, I would never dare to drive!
I do have my scooter license, got it with the max amount of mistakes but when I got it, it's was theory only so when I bought my scooter and the guy gave it to me, I had no clue what to do with it since I never touched a scooter before :P

Yeah i was also promised an internship at an IT company, but they didn't had someone to guide me, so i kept in contact each month if they had someone, i studied for it and then suddenly they stopped responding.. Also city hall sorta promised me something once and also didn't go through.

Being tired behind the wheels is almost the same effects as being drunk, thats proven.
My trouble was that i don't see "far ahead" enough, one exam i had this truck parked at a very stupid spot, i was like what now? And since i was standing still for some time, eventually decided to go past it anyway and offcourse a car came just across, i couldn't win it, but one examinator really commended me that handling a car i could do well and should persue the lessons.
I think whenever i would have my license, a trip to the stores or something would be no issue, but on the speedway more difficult, But in amsterdam? It would drive me bonkers. I was with a friend there once, and she also can't drive, and she was like can i ride here? I am like i guess, and we went on a bus lane. :p

Yeah it's different now isn't it with a scooter, also practical?

Oh yeah i totally understand, and it's good. But the bigger cats they all asked, no children, or a garden or a playmate (or be alone), i mean you can also ask too much from certain persons that they can't provide certain things.

I do animal rescue myself so I can tell you some of that is actually fairly standard, they need to make sure the animals they adopt out are going to responsible people. There are too many who either underestimate how much work a pet can be and end up having to return them, or don't really care and will toss their new pet out the door the first time it does something they don't like (scratch furniture, cough up a hairball, pee on the floor, etc.) so shelters have to be careful.

Adopting Kittens out in pairs is also fairly standard, as is keeping them with the mother (if she is there) until 8-10 weeks for that early development. The mother will teach her Kittens "how to Cat", if one is separated too early they can end up with behavioral problems like biting, playing too rough, or not using a litterbox properly. Kittens get into trouble on their own and having 2 actually makes it less work, they will keep eachother occupied when nobody is home or you are busy and don't have time to pay attention to them.

However, making sure you click with a potential pet is.....iffy. Some animals do not do well in a shelter setting and are too scared or nervous to "click" with anyone, or they have conditions like overstimulation or redirected aggression and nobody knows how to deal with them there but they would be fine in a more relaxed home setting.

I really recommend going for the shelter option, they really know what is best for your new loved one!

I understand costs have risen a fair bit since my last rescue 17 years ago, but you're not being ripped off, only being asked to contribute to the expense of the great work they do. (My little darling is as adorable as ever, though she now needs medication twice a day for hyperthyroidism. I'm fortunate to have a charity here which helps with health care for pets when their guardian doesn't have the means: PDSA UK.

My first kitty was found in a bin bag in the gutter, but grew into one of the most elegant cats (he was also gay and horny with my later male cats!).

I did once use a less reputable source for a new kitten, but it turned out he was very ill and only survived a few days, so heartbreaking.)

My remaining kitty actually chose me! I went to my local rescue centre looking for a black-and-white male kitten to get on with my older similar cat. They had a litter with two of them, but their grey-and-white sister climbed up the side of their box as if to say "Take me! Me!". I had no option!

As for hygiene, I only kiss their front end... Cats are very clean animals, and the rare "chocolate kiss" on the bedding is easily taken care of! More often you'll have to clean up after a furball or some partially digested food thrown up, and of course you'll be regularly shovelling sh** with an indoor cat (the option I go for, and which your rescue centre will advise on for suitability, as well as knowing siblings that shouldn't be separated, advising on diet, etc. ).

I for one have serious issues in my life, but I also have my cat to love and cherish and keep me sane!

Hope this helps a little bit...

cats are awesome and they definitely give you more spirit and heal your heart, to pour your love into.
we got 2 cats ourselves (brother and sister). since they would be staying at home all the time (we lived in a flat at that time), we decided for 2 cats as they themselves need a playmate for their own mental health.
if your cat can go outside, its ok to keep only 1 cat.
also it is said that kittens should stay with their mom until they are at least 12 weeks old, so they learn everything they need from their mother and its also good for their mentality

have fun with your kitten

But i only have a small apartment and need to open 5 doors to be inside (fire hazard doors) but i can give them a balcony, and my own much companionship, not to mention the financial strain will get bigger too.

6 weeks is definitely way too young. If you have to take them earlier than do in in no less than 10 weeks, but ideally they are over 12 weeks old when taken away from their mother and siblings. During the last week's they learn how to correctly socialize, so it's an important part

I totally believe you but it's out of my hands there, as i don't have a say as they are not my cats to give away.

It would also give me way more proper time to really think this through.

But if i say no or wait some weeks, they might just give them away to someone else.
They are from the same place my mom got them and the same procedure, and apart from being spoiled (especially with dinner) i think they turned out okay, although they are brothers that got eachother.

I don't know your personnal situation but my cat really helped me in my depression and I think I helped her out too. I didn't have to go to a shelter to adopt her because I lived in a place where there were a lot of connected gardens and a few cats were just lost/abandonned there. When I met her she was one year old, scared of humans and cats, way too thin and aggresive. I waited a few months letting her free to choose to come back everytime before adopting her officially. You are right the shots are expensive and there are also the castration operation. But on the bright side you get a little passport for your cat :D
Also drinking tea while stroking your cat who is purring is da best sensation ever. Maybe I have the soul of a film vilain haha.
I hope the best to you and your little kitty!

I read in an answer you sent to someone else that you have a balcony. Don't forget to make it catproof. Appartment cats have a tendency to die from what I would call evitable deaths. I know one of them fell down a window, an other got out and met his death by the weels of a car just outside the appartment. My cats never had this fate and I have the chance of having one who lived like a wild cat but is also fearful from noise and unknown scents while still being curious.
But if your cat is 100% a appartment cat she/he won't have some survival skills to deal with the modern world so you will have to protect him/her a little more. I'm sorry to talk about something so dark but it just breaks my heart when those things happen.

Offcourse i dont forget that :), it's actually the first thing on my mind, i live on the first floor though with just ground (no tiles) beneath, so they should be able to survive that.
I saw a net online, but i dunno if that's gonna be tight enough as the fencing a cat could easily squeeze through and keep feeling on the net, or i need something seperate for that, but what then?

One little tip i have with budgeting in terms of groceries is to take only cash with you. That way you can only spend what you can afford that day/week and you can never overspend. I had to do that in my student uni days and it worked well for me anyways. Best of luck with your choice of kitten! 😺😻

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, that's why I always buy groceries with cash, if you see how much money you have in there, it's easier to not overspend, I just take €40 every time and at the end of the month I can see how much I spend on it, if you buy with a card you have no idea how much goes out and you easier spend way more than you realize!
Also, check all grocery stores in a radius you can handle and then check their discounts every week, I have 5 different grocery stores here and it's a bit more work but I save so much money by checking discounts!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That sounds more like work to me but if you're on a limited budget, it all helps. The bulk or buy one get one free discounts are very useful but only if you really need it. They are very clever with theses discounts to try and get you to spend more than what you actually need.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, at the end of the month I check my finances, that is maybe 2 minutes or so of work, I am fine with doing that much.

I was talking to my mom about these discounts the other day 'oh it's €0,20 off, lets go!' then when inside the store 'oh wait, lets buy a fresh bread bun now that we are here' and... discount is wasted again... so you have to be careful not to buy more than what you needed since else indeed, in the end, you screw yourself over with it!

Every grocery store accept cash here, only ones that don't accept cash are vending machines and maybe some carts and some takeaway restaurants, besides that you can easily pay with cash though means you can't use the self scan registers since these only take card, but every normal register takes cash just fine, unless it's different in the part where he lives.

But it's under the name of increasing energy costs many products increased their price but now gas prices dropped they don't really reduce them, i can have one bag with some food with some milk, a bag of chips, and not even for a whole week or much healthy vegetables included and already be gone 70 euro.

Even minced meat for a spaghetti is 5.

€5 for minced meat for 1 meal for 1 person? that is either some very expensive meat or a very big portion.
For €4.29 I can buy 500g of mixed minced meat which is 3 portions for me (checked the Jumbo website for the price)
€70 for 1 person for 1 weeks sounds like you either eat a lot (like for 2 to 3 people) or go to a very expensive supermarket :O

Well maybe they already dropped the price again that could be, i haven't bought minced meat for 5 months or so.

I am doing my groceries at a jumbo, and the opposite i eat too little, i am often why am i going through all the trouble of cooking just for myself you know, when i can have this peanut butter sandwhich (again). And i do take A-Z vitamins to have something in. I still don't think groceries are cheap though nor anyone saying they are, we haven't come up with the word grab (in)flation for nothing. And it's not like lidl or aldi are that much cheaper anymore either then before.

Yeah, sadly groceries are getting more and more expensive, not much you can do about that, besides being more careful on what you get and try to get mostly discounted stuff, sadly Jumbo is pretty bad with weekly discounts. Almost all meat and fish I buy is on discount which saves a lot of money, just buy big packages and freeze them, I also try to avoid A brands for most stuff since that also saves a lot!
Aldi and Lidl have the image of being super cheap, but nowadays they are not cheaper than for example Jumbo, depending on the products obviously since every supermarket have different stuff cheaper but overall Jumbo seems to mostly be the cheapest, also sucks that Lidl and Aldi don't have their prices online so you can't compare which sucks!

All we get with the jumbo (beside a stealing CEO) is a zegeltjes action every time, but you still don't get an item for free but pay extra for it, like a max verstappen car, or food storage boxes, or stuffed animal pigs (they are cute though :p) and now a second ticket free to play miniature golf here at the local place.

I believe there are apps to compare them but i dunno if they are included, but i refuse to check each time i do groceries oh i go to that one for this and to that one for that, since i already hate to cook for myself, i just eat more peanut butter sandwhiches. :p

I also do tend to avoid the A brands which means a lot of bending over (with 193 cm is good for your back) and i do even try to take food on discount but that's also a thing, they don't really provide many packaging for 1 person households, when something is on sale like i got 4 chicken schnitzels, i can make 1 and the next day, but offcourse you dump stuff in the freezer (my store is 2km away so if its get 25c+ i also have to deal with that).

Yeah, feel like demonstrating isn't a big thing here, not sure why actually...

Jumbo is a nice store but indeed they are more of the free or cheap extra stuff which I don't care about, rather had more discounts!
Sadly many discounts are for families, like you say, it's always 1+1 or 2+1 while I rather have 50% discount and for stuff like meat and fish I don't care since I freeze it, but stuff you don't freeze it sucks, sure 4 packs of pasta is fine, but 3 or 4 packs of stuff that only stays okay for a week or so, is useless, or 6kg of potatoes for the price of 3kg is fun, but then I eat potatoes for weeks to finish it before I can throw them out, hate how they forget the simple person! I also hate cooking, I do it, but it's always easy and fast and cheap, as long as it doesn't taste bad I am fine with it since I just don't care enough about food, I eat because I need to, not because I want to and that doesn't make it easier!

I can only call it in dutch, maybe murw geslagen. But yeah those that do demonstrate (farmers blocking roads, extinction rebellion, yellow jackets) they all been put away as crazies or extreme people or without a job. So that isn't helping either i guess that people are not seen as "normal" when they do demonstrate, not even to mention you could easily get a beating from the ME these days.

For hutspot or any stew 1 kg is already enough to make a pot that would last you a week, 6kg is a lot yeah.
Knorr packages are easy, although a bunch of them seem to have disappeared from their selection (and also replaced with family packaging) and i don't think the sauces and such are healthy too, but it's a way to make some vegetables digestible. (like the kid from the commercial saying he doesn't like vegetables, that's me) :p
Oh yeah, if there was a pill containing all the necessary things you need instead of cooking and eating, i would take the pill, on tv i saw a company that produced it or was working on it, but offcourse they go for expensive prices.

Yeah, demonstrators are crazy people who have no life and have a chance of being beaten by ME, I mean, doesn't sound like the best? ^^

I sometimes get these Knorr packages, but nowaday i just add some salt and pepper (can't handle garlic and onions very well) and go with that and that works fine for me.
Vegatables are an issue for me as well, found a pasta dish with mushrooms so eat that 2 times a week, also eat wraps with tomato and lettuce and made stamppot with sperziebonen the other day, that also worked for me but eating vegetables is hard!!

Would love a pill as well, sadly high chance if they would ever invent it, it would just be filled with bad crap which doesn't make it healthy either...

You also got from knorr i believe, 2 packages containing pasta pesto or pasta carbonara, you just add water and let it boil for 10 minutes or so and you got yourself a dish, you could add some mini tomatoes, some cheese, or even some spam/smac.
And some swedish pancake like thing with raisins? But i suck at making them (also pancakes) that's a skill. :p

Stamppot met sperziebonen is new to me. :p

My mom used to get a frikandel special often when i was little, i just wanted the sauces and then she said no onions, sometimes they did put on onions and i wouldnt want it and cried, and my mom had to scrape off the onions, but now? I love it with them.
Also paprika in wraps (not pure) i learned to eat, but those are the only 2 things that came at a later age somehow.

Yeah I know those Knorr ones, but not a fan, they taste very... made in a factory, not sure how to explain.

I wanted to make stamppot to eat some veggies and well, found that you can basically add any veggie and it works and sperziebonen were on discount and it tasted fine, not wow but good enough!

Sadly I don't handle anything from the onion family, has nothing to do with taste, though also don't like the taste of all but garlic, but since I 'need' to avoid it, I try to do that as much as possible, same with lactose, I do eat it but as little as possible.

I read that text quickly (am not good with long texts) but basically, chewing adds to it and is important which can't be replaced by any pill or powder, damnit! :P

Prices never go down straight away unfortunately. Minced meat in my country is about Β£3 and that is usually about 2 portions so i can make spaghetti bolognaise twice a week. I am not a fussy eater so i will eat most things but i tend to buy produce in season to try and keep my costs down where i can. Lets hope in the next few months, things start to get better.

Thank you, and yeah that's something i struggle with like is this my "end" destination or just a passage way to something more (like a relationship, then moving elsewhere, have a kid) if i had that glass ball and i knew this would be the rest of my life and forever be alone, it would make it very gloom and more bareable if i knew there was more.

Well in my opinion (or maybe in my country atleast) i think certain companies never do anymore, healthcare insurance or internet/tv cable for sure never decreases anymore.

We also have sort of instant pasta instead of instead noodles, you just add water and you get pasta pesto or carbonara, you could add some cheese, tomatoes, or even spam.

I am very fussy even so that often i sat long times at the dinner table my parents trying to have my plate clean in the end i ended up putting it in toilet paper in my trouser pockets and flushing it away. :p
And it's normal here to almost daily eat cooked potatoes with beets or sprouts, and that's certainly not my thing.
We got something called world dinners, which are easy to make like within 15 minutes and make certain vegetables (like green beans) edible.

Oh a cat will be so fulfilling and also distracting in a good way. Having to take care of a little being is such a good feeling. Especially when they give it back by crawling on your lap for example. Just getting to know their character while they grow up; it's so precious. Enjoy every bit of it. SG won't go anywhere, don't worry. (βœΏγƒ˜α΄₯γƒ˜)

Why i also still hope someday i might get a kid, it's a life's wish to many women, but for me just the same.
I can already "practice" with the cat this way cleaning up after them. :p

There were giveaways hidden in those music posts? 🀯

I always checked out those posts to enjoy the music! 🀣

Getting a handle of your financial situation, and turning it around to become a little better month to month over time, can be incredibly empowering. It's tough! Please be patient and forgiving towards yourself.

+1 for getting the kitty.

Ohh a cat adoption! You and your mum are pretty cool.
And yea...will be on the lookout for your occasional Muscial gib. I discovered some nice songs through them even. My fav till now is that MJ one called Ben.

Yeah my mums cats are brothers, one loved to pet me on the head with his paw and the other loved foot massages from me, but ever since i moved away they shun away from me, like i abandoned them.

And yeah one of the best songs by him.

Indoor or outdoor, get 2 - they need friends and litter mates are ideal. Wherever you get them, you will have to take them to a vet right away for a check up and shots. You may find this more affordable if you do it through a shelter. Another way to get kittens is to simply ask around. I got my cats either from friends or friends of friends whose cat had kittens. Best way - you know if they come from a healthy well taken care of mother.

I know and i rather wish i can afford 2 too but that would be twice the food, twice medical bills, but i also just have this small apartment, i am afraid two would be too big, also if something ever were to happen to my mom, i want to take her two, that would make me have 4 and that certainly will be too much.

I thought i had some more weeks to decide on it.
