What is gameminer?

There appear to be a recent flood of invite codes for this site gameminer.ru.

What the heck is this and is it even remotely legitimate? One has to be somewhat suspicious of a site that is somehow trading in rubles based steam games. Does anyone know how the site works?

it's like playblink, only russian and without those shooter and stuff like on pb
works like all of these, random
i've won quite a lot there, so it legitimate

use chrome and translate entire page, as for the invites mostly anyone thats in the site would love to invite you since you get stuff for inviting people
