games like....The room / The House of Da Vinci?

I'm not too sure since I haven't played these games, but the Zero Escape trilogy has escape room puzzles, they are also VNs so there's a lot of reading too.
Maybe the Rusty Lake games, I haven't played these yet but I recenty started playing the Cube Escape games on my phone (from the same devs) and the gameplay looks similar (I think you can also play them for free in your browser).

Although they're both on my wishlist, I've never played the 2 games you're quoting.
But from what I see, it'll look like Lake Ridden I did, which is very nice. So I suggest it to you ;)
 

No point&click, but also an escape-room game: Last Will
Some people don't like it, but I played it for about 12 hours and enjoyed it :)
