Yup, dead. Dead when the game became f2p, focusing on hats and the shop, upon releasing of new unbalanced weapons, making the community full of cheaters and fake accounts and giving a big middle finger to all competitive players.
Even every brand new Cod has millions of players, but that doesn't mean that is a good game. Too bad because TF2 was an excellent game, at least for the first years upon the release.
