Yes I did, and I will continue cleaning up my library.
But I think this "permanently" is a lie :D
As far as I know you can restore those removed games later, so they are not deleted permanently. Your playtime and achievement records are preserved as well. Only Steam support can truly remove your games completely.

I once asked support to delete a game from my acc way before it was "normal to do so" and they did it manually. It was a copy of a game I got in "coal" trade but ended up being for another region so I couldn't buy dlc or anything (and no, I didn't use vpn, it looked normal and activated normally and I could play but just couldn't buy any dlc)

No it was a special "coal prize" package or something. It activated normally and I started to play, but when I wanted to buy a dlc it said "you don't own the game". So I checked activation log and it said "coal prize RU". Asked support, they said all is legal, but they can't change the region for it so if I want dlc I'll have to have it removed and buy the game in my region... and I was like ffs... do it... I lost 3 coals on this gift :(

Yeah I did it once before it was "normal to do so" since I think it might have been a giveaway or something that gave you like a closed beta key but after the beta was over with or when the game was finally released it was still stuck in my library even if I uninstalled it and there was no way to remove it like you can sometimes do with complimentary items.

I remember when I had to contact steam support I had to show them an image of my steam library as well and then they were able to remove it manually and I think that was the only time I ever had them remove a game from my library, I don't have that many games unlike others and most games that I own are games that I enjoy so no need to remove them - I think there is a few EA games that I bought that didn't turn out well and maybe I would want to delete them so I don't have to worry about seeing them again.

Yes, about 100 of them (played / tried every one before deciding to delete them too).

No, cause I don't feel a need to do so.
Especially more so for the stuff I win.

A hundred or more from my main account (over 1000 from a secondary). Stuff I realised I'd never play or return to finish ever again.

Tons. I used to like +1s, freebies wth cards, and in the early days of bundles, I added everything to my account regardless of interest. I don’t like clutter or keeping things I won’t use, so why not remove the game? I feel WAY less guilty about having 900 games and not playing a bunch than 1600. The fact that I can get it back as easily as I removed it is nice too. I’ve done so once. The only “advantage” to removing over hiding is that your library number actually goes down, and that certainly isn’t an advantage to everyone.

Once upon a time, there was a website called Playfire, which gave you store credit (GMG, I think?) for earning achievements. Sometimes the achievements were for F2P games. One such game was "Everlasting Summer," a visual novel.

I started playing it, and immediately hated it. I won't go into detail, although I will say I don't know why this trash has 93% SteamDB score. People just overwhelmingly like this game.

I didn't play long enough to earn any achievements (Thank goodness--I'd hate to have that hanging over me), but I was so ashamed to have public evidence that I even bothered to play this game that I removed it from my account.

Fast forward a few years, and with madjoki's script for acquiring F2P Steam games, it's back in my account. Oy.

I recently removed two disgaea demos from my libary because everytime I sorted my games with Depressurizer they automatically moved out of the category I put them in.

But no, I have never removed any games.

I got some in this Gold Ticket thingy from Indiegala, which I just... don't want. Buuuuut I still didn't get round to getting rid of them. Also I might just be to lazy to figure out how to do this hides

Never have and probably, never will.
I don't mind the junk or the crappy games. I just ignore them. As for the thinking what some people/friends will think if I own some particular game, never have I cared nor I will ;)
It's your game. You should enjoy it (or not and hide them, delete them etc).

Yes. I bought a game over humble bundle. Which I Absolutely hated. Humblebundle refunded me the money and as a common courtesy, I deleted the game off my steam account.

No, I just hide them.
Being able to prioritize games with library categories has been helpful, too.

No, I have categories for a reason. It's not like I scroll through the list anyway, I normally just use the search bar.

Yep, I've actively deleted about 10 or so games. If I'm definitely never going to play something I'd rather not have to have it taunt me in my library.

I deleted a few because there were "purchase togther" bundles that wouldn't let me buy because I already owned one or more of the games included. So I technically bought those games twice.
