Dwarfs!? 11000+ Entries

99% of the people who gets games on sale or free probably never play them
Even I was shocked when I saw 11000 entries I though it would have like 1k or 2k then I was like wowwww

People dont want to miss good opportunity to win, even if they wont play the game itself. I didn't entry though.

But as I can clearly see, most of the community here is so much greedy that they enter everything is a some chance to win...

If I happen to win a copy (so far got a 1-in-12 chance), I'll definitely play it. If it's a good game (even if I don't personally like it because it's not my kind of game), I'll buy at least one copy (not on sale) and throw it on SG to support the devs.

I'll have a better chance on winning any other usual contest.

I have many games that I barely even touched. Bought them on sale or they were in a bundle.
Like, bit trip runner. I launched it and was like 'meh'. 6 months later, I saw a video of it on youtube. And I was like 'damn, this looks good after all'. I mean, if I won't play it right away, I'm sure I will play it sometime later. Dwarfs doesn't seem like a kind of game I would play everyday, but I sure can spend few fun evening with it.

I have sunk quite a bit of time in it already, at a friend's place; just somehow never got around to getting it for myself. A bloody brilliant game, that is.

I will not be entering this giveaway. I am just not intrigued by the game. But their future projects look quite interesting, including another dwarf games.

I was astounded as well when I saw the entries skyrocket. Only 1000 copies and in 10 hours from start, it had 11k+ entries. While Faerie Solitaire with 25k copies, finished with 15k+ entries/winners.
