Why are so many people complaining about bugs in alpha protocol? I played it through a couple of times, but I haven't seen a single bug.

Got a mouse issue where if I open any other application or have any application running at the same time as AP it jerks like crazy making it unplayable, and enemies dont load when I load a previous checkpoint, plus the game can randomly skip half the level and just go to a cut scene.Loving the game though.

No, the Steam version IS patched. And even if it wasn't, it would be the developers' fault, not Gabe's.

No shit sherlock, gabe is just the spokesperson for a huge company, its not like he makes the decisions anyways, hence why it was a joke.

And what PC game does not not have any bugs when unpatched? That's what patches ARE FOR

Yes, but alpha protocol still has the same issues it had from the start, and thats called lack of ongoing (or any) support. It's due o the fact they never truly ported it correctly to PC, just sort of tweaked the controller settings and hoped for the best.

If you're not spending all your AP points in Martial Arts, you're playing Alpha Protocol Incorrectly.

Bugs? In my Alpha Protocol? Not likely, it won game of the year in Columbia 2 years straight. It's all they play down there, and they know quality when they see it.

Its amazing, its like I managed to get every bug in the game thats possible...there should be an achievement for that shit.

For me, the game was unplayable without plugging in a controller, thanks to the odd way the game's engine does frame rendering.
Also, all the save glitches such as enemies not respawning upon loading, or their states being completely different, or them not noticing you, or or or...
Perhaps the most telling thing about the game's quality is SEGA's inability to support it post-release, which is why all those things are STILL known bugs.

Happy Birthday. Alpha Protocol was more enjoyable than DXHR for me.

None of you were good, now take your sacks of coal and leave.
Seeing how it is my glorious day of birth today (hitting the mighty number of 21) I've decided to gift absolutely nothing at all and spend the time trying to scrub off the atrocious amount of bugs alpha protocol has so I can grasp the gem that is underneath.
Hope you gents have a wonderful day on this world holiday (what? You are going to work, did no-one tell you? Oh well) keep the gifts rollin in.
