I bought Anthem in Januari (this year) with a simular deal and liked it a lot. it's a good game. There aren't many people playing anymore but i was still able to find players to run strongholds (4 player coop dungeons). I played the whole campaign in solo mode which I enjoyed very much. All in all I got around 160 hours of play time before I got bored with the end game content, so definitely got my moneys worth out of it.
I don't know how many players there are at the moment and if it's easy to find groups now.
Shame they don't develop this game anymore. It's a very good game. Flying around in a iron man suit through jungles and around huge 'alien' buildings was asome.

Thanks! This deal is good enough for me to grab honestly. Two things hold me back though: I have a huge backlog already and I sense it might be given away sooner or later ala other EA games like DA Inquisition and Star Wars Squadrons.

I played the 10h trial thanks to Origin Access when it launched. They purposedly added a mission to make us waste time so they made sure we didn't finish the campaign in the trial. I can understand that.

I got EA Play many months later. I was more or less at the end of the campaign, but the menu and stuff had changed and couldn't find where to continue and finish the campaign, only free-roaming missions. So I ended up leaving the campaign unfinished.

I liked the game and wanted to love it, but its bad release wasted the experience and its fame.

Feels like even for that money it isn't worth. If they decide to shut down the server which could be soon since the game is pretty much dead you won't be able to run the game since it's always online.
