I made a post here promoting the group just this weekend so I'm afraid to link it but a great example of a group that doesn't have a page on SG is Couples Games. I can't select it as a giveaway group, and when I use Advanced Steam to go to the SG.com profile page of that group to check our wishlist, it simply redirects me to the main page because a page for that group had not been created. When I go to my groups page https://www.steamgifts.com/account/steam/groups it simply does not exist.

Is this because of characters e.g. Couples Games has a space in it?

It's a month old and I've synced my profile many times. It has ~50 members so I would be sad to have to restart.

I filed a ticket under Other but I was wondering if one of you could help.

Definitely not. I've just checked my groups, and found 2 that have a space in the middle, and have many giveaways made, in one of them even on day 1 already.
Quick search resulted in finding these 2 ancient discussions: one two
But they don't really give any other advice than to be patient... :/

I think I can explain. It's usually a problem with group Sync of steam API. it happens with some new groups. In about two weeks, one month at most it should be fixed by itself.

The group is already about a month old, is that normal?

I am not sure. Wait a little longer, or maybe create a ticket for support asking about it. From what I have seen it usually fixes itself after some time.

I've already created a ticket but I'm not sure when they will get to it. Strange problem. Thank you for your time :)

Yes indeed. All of your info makes a lot of sense. Especially the advice about not hurting myself 😂. I've made my own workarounds for now (members only area of the group) so I'll deal with it. Thanks so much for the helpful info!

I selected Follow on your curator page, but when I search Steam Groups for "Couples Games" I don't get any hits.
I suspect you have a Curator page with 50ish followers, but that's different than having a group with 50ish members.
That would explain SG never seeing it, I think.

Thanks, I'm happy to be wrong.
When I search for the name of your group exactly by its name, it was number 46 or so in the list.
My bad.

Now that I'm a member (thanks), I can say it's the same for me. Steam lists your group on my list of groups, but even after synching, SG does not.

Aw, thank you again! Yeah, it's the weirdest thing. I'll just wait for the next sync and when/if it ever works, I'll update this thread. makes mental reminder

Update because I said I would: Can now select Couples Games as a giveaway group, so if anyone is reading, that gives you an indication on time frame. Ten days from when I made my first post. Closing the thread now for posterity. Thanks to everyone!
