Which is better
Just look at it, it will look at you with such disdain that you won't have any doubts they are superior.

When I was a teen (and already a cat-lover ofc) I remember reading something that really stuck with me. Somebody was begin interviewed about cats vs. dogs, and she said, "What I like about cats is that they have the same traits that I look for in people-- independence and dignity."

Yes, that's very true :)

Some cats are dickheads, others are loveable balls of fur.

ode to spot
Felis Catus
is your taxonomic nomenclature
An endothermic quadruped
carnivorous by nature
Your visual, olfactory,
and auditory senses
Contribute to your hunting skills
and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued
by your sub-vocal oscillations
A singular development
of cat communications
That obviates your
basic hedonistic predilection
For a rhythmic stroking of your fur
to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential
for your acrobatic talents
You would not be so agile
if you lacked its counterbalance
And when not being utilized
to aid in locomotion
It often serves to illustrate
the state of your emotion
Oh Spot,
the complex levels of behavior you display
Denote a fairly well developed cognitive array
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend.

That was great...I remember that episode like it was yesterday.
It always bugs me, though, that "Felis catus" is not its taxonomic nomenclature (it's felis domesticus), and that obviates doesn't mean "to demonstrate or make obvious," which is how he's using it. It means "to remove (as in to remove the need for)" or "to avoid or prevent."
Lt.Cmdr. Data wouldn't make those mistakes.

Based on how they generally behave, my youngest cat would be thinking:
"pleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattentionpleasegivefoodpleasegiveattention"
And my oldest would be thinking:
"I'm not sure if I like you or not. Maybe I actually do. But you're a reliable source of food anyway so I'll stick around. Maybe."

Cats are better than humans (They are cute. Soft. and evil) I mean have you looked a cat in the eye it's obviously plotting something. They are plotting something big. And not even humans can stop it. Please tell me what you think they are thinking when you look deep into their eyes. I've said too much so... OH SHIT, I hear them coming I gotta go.
