You said it Talgaby. The gaming companies are getting sloppy and super lazy with releasing these crappy ports. Pass on buying for me :)

it's about time they fix the freezing problems due to their inability to make multicores (Intel only afaik) work with this game.
I get zero freezes when I set the affinity to 2 cores and thus disabling 2. However, I get a lower fps which just sucks.
The Lasso solution doesnt work for me (less freezes but they still happen) .

Overall, it's a decent and beautiful game. I'm not getting the hype though.

That doesn't sound good. I have an Intel CPU, so unless they fix this before I start playing the game (which will probably be in a few weeks), I will run into the same problems. Oh boy...

The older the CPU, the more likely and more often and longer it will happen.
I pack a i5 4670K which is my bottleneck at the moment. Bought it in 2013 ;). I had freezes which lasted 4-6 seconds.

So it kind of depends which CPU you have. You might be fine.
And the problem is being worked on... fingers crossed it will be fixed soon.

Well, mine is a little newer, but not by much (i7-6700K). It has 8 threads, though. Maybe that makes a difference? I have to finish a few other games first anyway. So I hope when I am finally ready for the game, it will also be ready for me. ;)
