How excited are you? (10 being the maximum)
You can it install it from Steam Server, that's the different. That's the better way. :)
When the Rockstar Launcher going down, that can't you reinstall it.

Don't care about pre-order rubbish, which is good because I don't like pre-ordering. Don't care about having to wait to (eventually) buy this on PC, mostly because I buy games long after their release. Do care that RDD is coming to PC, finally. I think the move is long overdue. My only concern is that they do a decent port. So many excellent games have been ruined by bad ports....

Just 1 month exclusive!
This is brilliant. Perfect X-mas gift for me :D

Awesome! I already had a friend who i asked to borrow his PS4 because i wanted to play RD2, actually i own one single PS3 game and that is- Read Dead Redemption, even though i dont have PS3, so you can tell how excited im, now just be patient for steam release and probably some nice discount.

I wish they sold the multiplayer separately and charge us cheaper for just the single player. Everyone says the multiplayer is garbage, requiring you to buy microtransactions to have any reasonable progress and enjoyment. Basically the same as GTA Online.
Ironic how gamers want less game to have more fun. I know some people will say just don't play the multiplayer but the fact that it's there kinda ruins it because the multiplayer could have been awesome. It's a reminder of how greedy and scummy R* is.

I don't think Rockstar would have any say in it even if they wanted to, they're just developing the game Take-Two wants them to. I don't really care about neither of them but it's incorrect to say Rockstar is greedy, they're just a small portion of a bigger company, like EA and their devs.

Yay! One month isn't a long time, I'm happy they managed to bring it to PC so fast. I was expecting it to take way longer and coming out in a month! That's really awesome

i don't know if is true, but i read somewhere that the source code of rdr is lose and this make problems about delay of this can happen.
but yes me same you has very hoping for this, and i must say im very disappoint that they not give it togheder with rdr2 instead of 2 other games old to choose that is + easy pc gamers own already.

Modern Warfare is even 129GB. Crazy times we live in...

I'm rather more excited about DigitalFoundry's PC version analysis videos, than about the game itself
Unpopular opinion: RDR wasn't a masterpiece, like so many are claiming, but just a good game. 7.5 out of 10

It's sad how their videos are having more and more useless filler. They used to get right into action, but now even the simplest video is littered with junk just to pass 10 minutes length. The guy that does DF retro is really getting his hands dirty. Half of what he says is praise to the most basic effects and graphic features. He used to be good, but he lost his touch. All of them did, actually, after a clear implementation of 10+ minutes videos only policy and an increase in the amount of videos per week. Notice how they are now doing separate videos for the base and enhanced consoles, all with 15+ minutes. Even the editing is suffering, with the Witcher 3 on Switch video being the worst example. The best videos from them now are from the old guy with the overclocked Switch.

I don't agree :)
I really like throughout approach in their videos and attention to subtle, almost non existing, details, that otherwise would go unnoticed. I also enjoy to listen to what they have to say about every other game (even about the games I'm not interested in) or discussing some tech in DF Direct, while I'm doing something; the game's history in DF Retro with a lot of details about game's development, it's tech and why it was so important and cool back then (really looking forward for System Shock series retrospective :3 )

I still like watching their videos, but I don't trust their analysis much anymore. Seen them ignore important details one too many times. Their comparison between the Toy Story movie and Kingdome Hearts 3 segment in particular irked me, what with how they completely skipped talking about lighting and shadows (ie. the most significant difference between the two).

The wait on PC has also a really bad side effect for GTA V and probably the same will happen to RDR2... I don't own GTA V (yet but who knows maybe one day) -as I read and told by many- the cheaters on PC make the GTA online a nightmare... considering how famous RDR2 is probably will have the same issue down the road... a nasty example I read: a cheater adds money to you will get you banned ...

You cant banned for that but a few years ago they would have taken the money. The main problem is as years passed more and more op and grindy stuff got added into the game and it reached a point that it was impossible to roam in the city as someone would constantly kill you with a bike that can fly.

Got a shitload of freezes yesterday. Every couple of minutes the screen froze for a couple of seconds. Sometimes more often.
I found a possible fix but was not able to check it out yet.

If doesnt work I just have to wait for a official fix, because this totally destroys the fun.
Game looks sweet though.
I played until the deer hunting "tutorial".

Good that I wait for a later Steam release. :D
One question. Has it a better performance with a SSD compared to HDD?
