Although the damage awesomeness is somewhat awesome the physics is weird.

Most likely will buy it anyway :D

For me its like abusing projects like Kickstarter. If you already published games, even on Steam and made money, than dont beg for more.

There is a section "Why kickstarter" ...read it...

Maybe it's not so wrong...

Kickstarter is begging. Get over it

People are paying for a product they want to be finished AND get it, how's that begging?

No logic allowed here mister!

They didn't publish a single game anywhere, they developed them. This time they're skipping the publisher and go for direct community input.
Developing games costs time and money, so unless you want to be chained down by publishers rules, you go for Kickstarter, which, to me, seems like a really good thing to do.

Aren't they already selling it on their site?

They do, it's pretty much the same as on the Kickstarter site.

The game will be released whatever the outcome of the Kickstarter campaign

WOW Wtf, so My pre-order is basically useless since they are gonna base the outcome of the game based on the amount raised in kickstarter? >.>
I haven't read their full kickstarter info but that line is kinda disappointing

Thats actually good news IMO. If the kickstarter fails there is a huge chence the game doesn't get released.

This just confirms that the game will be released what ever the outcome is. The only thing kickstarter will change is when and how much budget they get.

I wonder now if their gonna include the money they collected from pre-orders before kickstarter on their funding goals

I hope so, if it gets on next gen then I don't have to worry about my PC specs....

Also I really want them to achieve the stretch goals :D

Call me when you can pre-purchase on steam, I dont have Paypal.

Also this game is on my list of a must have, Destruction Derby games are one of my favorites, and this has some features of it I loved.

Kickstarter doesn't accept paypal anyways lolz. I think it's only Amazon payments.

It does, it accepts credit cards and paypal accounts can be used in online pay as online credit card...

Well then, for the US at least, it only accepts Amazon. For UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, the FAQ says you pay directly from your bank account.

This game seems really cool, I have never played the Flatout series, but I have been always a big fan of Burnout, especially Burnout 3: Takedown, I assume they're somewhat similar?

What do you think guys? Is this going to get funded? I'm asking if there were other project in this situation (when it seems it's going too slow) that were funded?

They seriously lack on the advertising side. Also If they started with kickstarter from the start (instead of pre-order) in their website. Then the pledge would probbly already over 150k

+1 I already preordered it from their page directly. so no kickstarting here from my side, besides being a huge fan of the series.

If you think about it this kickstarter can not be a loss for Bugbear, If it gets funded, all's perfect, but even if it doesn't get funded through kickstarter, I'm sure most guys who supported it will pay the same amount again through the website. The only thing that can get in the way of this is not supporting some payment options, which would be a stupid move..

They already invested over 1 million $ in the game, it's close to finished. They need the kickstarter to continue improving it without depending on publishers.

Car crashing has always been and always will be lame to me. I even used Cheat Engine to go pass car crashes in DiRT Showdown, so yeah...

Why? Do you care for the cars or you like to race clean?

Both of them are good reasons, but I mostly just like to keep it clean and actually make a few rounds around a track

You shouldn't care about anything, that's the beauty of videogames. But also if you decide to drive clean, knowing your car would wreck if you crash it will give you alot of satisfaction when doing a clean race. Anyway, my opinion, that's how I see things.
