Nope

tempted for wasteland 2, but would really prefer a drm free installer... hmmm

Edit:
ended up going for it - a friend owed me anyways, so didnt really come out of my pocket. :D

Looks like drm free is becoming rare in HBs, only 1 of 7.

aye! still, wasteland 2 is listed here: http://steam.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_DRM-free_games so thats something (though sunless sea is also listed, and thats now drm'd)

from what I can recall the Jumbo bundles have always been largely Steam keys only.

You are wrong there. I Usually buy Tier 2 at least and these are the DRM-free I have got:
Jumbo Bundle 1: None
Jumbo Bundle 2: Deadlight, Legend of Grimrock
Jumbo Bundle 3: Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure, Blackguards, Always Sometimes Monsters, Full Mojo Rampage
Jumbo Bundle 4: Screencheat, Coin crypt, Freedom Planet
Jumbo Bundle 5: Divinity: Dragon Commander, Blackguards, Blackguards 2, Teslagrad
Jumbo Bundle 6: Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, Shadowrun Returns, Dreamfall Chapters, Shadowrun: Dragonfall Director's Cut,
Jumbo Bundle 7: Runestone Keeper, Prison Architect, Agatha Christie - The ABC , Elegy for a Dead World.
Jumbo Bundle 8: Valhalla Hills, Jotun, Turmoil, Legends of Eisenwald, Aurion, Void Destroyer
Jumbo Bundle 9: Samorost 3

Thanks for the info. I stand corrected then. It seems pretty hit or miss, unlike the Humble Indie Bundle where they seem to try to make everything WML compatible as much as possible as well as a DRM-free option.

It tends to get really nice sales over at GOG.

yeah, but few and far between. ive been seriously wanting to play it for about three months now i think. about to break.
would much rather have a gog version, but given its amere 50% off in the current steam sale... maybe its stopped getting the good discounts?!
MAYBE... just maybe... it might see some gog connect action in the future...

Meh, I don't know. It doesn't matter to me that much to trade this game for something else. I'm just being friendly - I see a person I know, she says that she would get the game but the price is too high, so I tell her about a better opportunity for getting it.

Trades are to be done on Steamtrades, as Andrea has mentioned. Trades aren't done here. :)

I heard that from others too, since the last few monthlies.

Don't forget the "I'll pause my subscription this month, no you won't"-"glitch" that happened this month.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

And the HB monthlies that appear in other bundles.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

That's to be expected tho, imo, there's only so many games and they squeeze out ~50+ games a month in bundles, of course they'll have to resort to games they've given out in monthlies sooner or later.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

IG is doing dozens of unbundled ones every week. Quality is of-course a different matter.
But I'm sure HB priorizes the monthlies heavily.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was trying to imply. Monthies are hopefully good games and them showing up later in bundles aren't that surprising. I can't remember where they've placed the previous monthly games but this time it's in T3, which isn't that bad I think. I think they've placed some monthly games in T2 tho before, that's a bit "hm", but at least (I hope) they aren't putting them in T1 (yet).

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There were some HBM games in T1 as i remember: RIVE, Neon Chrome, Grim Fandango(bundled a lot of time since then), even Epistory and Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty from this bundle. But then again there are plenty of games that never got bundled again after monthly, so you can never know if there is going to be better deal for it :)

Bougth because i always wanted to play Prototype 2.

Not interested on T1, already own Kingdom: New Lands, How To Survive 2 migth be interesting... Already own Wasteland 2 from HB monthly.

good bundle. own complete T1, missing everything else but cant decide yet

its probably the low violence version of Prototype 2 if you buy with german IP, or?

Permalink

Just bought it and it is the international version at this time. Be warned, HB did change packages in the past, but mostly after finding region restrictions (this key has no restriction).
