It's also due to this game being a reskin of NBA 2K20 which was a reskin of NBA 2K19. Electronic Arts has no shame with this scheme, or with their most recent Fifa games. Each time they have a reskin, it's the same exact game under a new title, sold for $60 all over again. But players will keep buying the games, and that perpetuates the problem just as much.

If it was just a competition, I and a lot of other Steam users didn't have any problem with it, but it's not competition. It's ruining the market for gaining power over the rival by any means, be it spending millions of dollars on free games and exclusivity deals. Why am saying this about Epic? Why didn't I complain about other platforms like Origin and Uplay? Because they never did things like this, forcing other games to be exclusive with paying publishers to screw their custormers. THIS, is bullshit because everyone must be granted the right to be able to buy their games wherever they want, not where they are forced to.

I'm handling it with not supporting their toxic competition by not buying from them and not adding a single free game. It's about politics and communism wanting to take over again. Search online about Active Measures and you may realize what's this all about. When it's about power and taking over, I'd rather pay American Steam than Chinese Epic. And just to be clear, I don't have a problem with Chinese people, I just don't want their communist government to take over.

Installed. Played for about 30 minutes. Uninstalled. Glitchy piece of garbage with microtransactions. Typical 2K Sports game quality. If you've ever played any of the recent WWE 2K games you will recognize the similar glitches. It will just be Kevin Durant's head on his crotch instead of Drew McIntyre's and his left arm will be sticking out of his forehead.
