...As long as they continue to love us traditional PC gamers, I don't mind whatever they do. I wouldn't personally be interested in a console, but augmented reality goggles for PC or whatever they mean by "wearable" could be interesting as long as they don't start heading towards being just gimmicky.

In the end Valve/Steam (whoever is in charge of who), still need to make MONEY because they are a BUSINESS. If they start making PC's or consoles they (the hardware) will still be overpriced electronic's that go obsolete every 2 months. It's sad, but it is the way our world currently works. People believe that Steam games are sometimes really cheap because the company loves people. They do it because it makes tonnes and tonnes of money. Hopefully people will understand what I am trying to get across. Oh and by the way, I do not hate nor love Steam/Valve, I simply view them as companies. I don't really know why I wrote all of this.

They should make a pc case that looks identical to a companion cube.

It's probably an LCD eyewear or some kind of motion controller. I remember at least 2 solid kickstarter projects along these lines which are backed by Valve/Gaben (some LCD glasses which should be bundled with Doom 3 and CLANG, a sword fighting sim).
