I read somewhere that you need a valid US billing address,
but do i also need a credit card issued in the US?

Also, any valid US address works? (they don't actually use it for anything, right?)

No, you don't need a credit card issued from the US. I'm not from the US and use this method, it works. Just google any US address (That doesn't get taxed) and you're good to go.

unfortunately for me my debit card checks the billing address matches that on the card so it doesn't work:(

but i don't think i actually need this for amazon games,
it looks like it's used for physical products shipping, that are limited to the US/UK by default.

Nope. You're paying them money, how is that cheating? The community manager (Tony) was asked and he was totally fine, since you know, we're paying them money.

I would, but i'm afraid that they will sue me for the game and end up legally owning me, being Google and all.
Then i would have to work as a Google street cam or something.

I use any of my POBox addresses (Transezpress, DHL, etc), without problems.

I live ouside US, with a Venezuelan credit card, but I called my bank and added my POboxes as complementaty addresses

Don't try to use fake address. They will put your account on hold after a few purchases unless you verify your billing address. They might even terminate and disable any game codes you might have bought if the account is on hold for too long. See if you can find trust worthy people who is willing to sell you the games you want for the same price as they bought it.

Yeah, I got my warning e-mail right after my very first purchase.

Apparently, many people can buy from Amazon with fake address just fine. Maybe I'm very unlucky.

I don't really know. I got a random US address of some US company from the Internet. It's the actual legit address but Amazon e-mailed me because my ip-address is not the same as US address I gave them. After that I just don't buy anything digital from Amazon again. I don't want them to ban my account because I still need it to buy physical goods.

I think I'm a rare case, as you can see, most people here can buy from Amazon with fake address without problem.
