Guardians of the Galaxy 2
Whats strange is that i liked this much more than the first one. Im not really sure what the difference is, both heavily rely on tropes and cameos. It might just be that this one doesn't feel like its necessary to insert a joke every few minutes, its still just as charming, just less forced.
I really dislike these Disney movies, but James Gunn won me over. Even these supposedly huge set pieces and fights, Are just gorgeous backgrounds, comparatively there is very little action, as it does not focus on it that much, and honestly, those scenes are super enjoyable.
So if the original was just fine, this is more or less an 8/10

Suburbicon it was interesting and imho was much better than the acclaimed Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri ;)

Made me cry and a surprisingly good christian movie, but even if you're not christian I'd encourage you to check it out! If you do, let me know :)

The book was amazing, I haven't seen the movie yet but the trailer had me thinking it wasn't going to live up to the book.
Still, worth a watch though I guess?

If short films count:
Gayniggers from Outer Space.
A true piece of art, it raises many questions like: WTF am I doing with my life?

Hail Caesar (2016). It´s a drama-comedy by the Coen brothers. It fits right with this easter celebration.

Somehow managed to never hear about that movie, which resulted in a very pleasant experience. The ending was little let down though. Still 8/10.

Just watched The Shape of Water.
Wow. That was one fantastic film. What a journey. It deserved the best film award.
EASILY a must see movie.

Madame Curie and The Story Of Louis Pasteur. I enjoyed them both.

That's very curious, very curious indeed. Because i've seen this yesterday and that led me to watch a few episodes of the TV series Poirot, fortunatly both where airing on t.v.
I fell a sleep for a few minutes, but that's ok, i didn't miss much, because the dead body was a huge spoiler to begin with. It wasn't Sidney Lumet´s Finest job. But decent enough, i'm betting better than the remake

Brawl in Cell Block 99
From Bone tomahawk to this, i think i finally found a good substitute to Tarantino once he reaches 10.
Not even kidding, this is up there with reservoir dogs for me, i mean maybe, i've seen this once. But i'm super hyped for whatever comes next
10/10
Batman: Gotham by Gaslight
It's a great setting, but heavily flawed. It preys on people's expectations, but when the time came, it was so unlikely, and convoluted, they decided to just abruptly end.
It might just be that they had copied the comic scene by scene, but when switching the main villain for another, they didnt even noticed the plot hole that was created
And this makes it the third batman animation with a changed but for the worst ending.
4/10

Brawl was great, did that even go to theaters? Never heard of it before I watched and I was very surprised.
Extremely graphic violence though.. no kiddies allowed lol

Just saw It. And I have to say that I was not impressed with the movie at all. Where was the scare factor? The atmosphere was just dark where it didn't need to be. The clown didn't even look threatening.
Maybe I'm just desensitized or something but I just don't see why everyone loves the movie.
I will see the sequel but not until home media like I just did.
If I paid to see this in the movies, I would have walked out and not only asked for my money back but for everyone elses money too.
0.2/10
Forgot to mention that this was still not the worst movie I have ever seen. That distinction stays at the 2016 Ghostbusters.

Watched the original Halloween last night. It's a good movie still, very old school horror feel and the same confusion as always on Jamie Lee Curtis role as the hot lead female.

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
