Public giveaways don't have around 3k entires anymore

So ive been noticing that all public giveaways that aren't AAA titles have begun to keep lower than 1,000 entries even when being open for longer 10 hours. before public giveaways were known for having really bad chances with around 3k each.

So what happened? I used to suspect bots, but now I don't know anymore, did a lot of public leechers just grow morals?

Don't they usually average just under a thousand? That's how I've seen it go most of the time, at least.

lately yes, but even I remember wanting to enter for some bundle games and they always have their numbers in the mid two thousands. Now almost every public seems to have good chances of under 800 entries

well, AAA giveaways are pretty rare, and quite a part of them are "accidential" by new people wo do not unterstand the site.

i think they are just hard to find in all the "noise"

I think that if you plot the average number of entries in a giveaway you'll see a large increase during the Steam summer and winter sales and a decrease in other mounths. The graph would probably liik like a sine wave
