I don't like Star Wars franchise, not even the movies. I think the last game I enjoyed was Jedi Power Battles for the PSX

Definitely Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords. But the first KotOR was also great, as well as Battlefront games.

Edit: Forgot about Republic Commando, awesome game.

Partly because I have not played the recent (i.e. the last 5 or 6 years) Star Wars games, and partly because I think the older games aren't getting enough love, I'm going to say Rogue Squadron for the Nintendo 64, and the "Super" series (Super Star Wars, Super Empire Strikes Back, and Super Return of the Jedi) from Super Nintendo (very similar versions were available on the PC also I believe.

None had much of a story, but they were all great fun to play and they all stuck close to the original movies and expanded universe novels (I'm skeptical about some of the later games in this regard).

Shadows of the Empire for the N64 probably should get an honorable mention.

Battlefront 2. Haven't played KotoR yet so It's probably the 2nd best.

KOTOR series are great, as well as Jedi Knight series. Force Unleashed series is awesome. Battlefront is good and Empire at War too.

I really hated Starfighter... one of the blandest space shooters I've tried. I'd stick with Rogue Squadron instead, at least it doesn't spam you with babysitting quests.

Anyways, my favourites would be KOTOR 2 and Jedi Outcast as a tie, for different reasons. Honorable mentions would be Battlefront 2, Republic Commando, Rogue Squadron, Jedi Academy (multi is awesome, only game I was and still am part of a clan) and the LEGO Star Wars games, save for the animated-inspired one.

I only played KOTOR 1 & 2 Battlefield 1 & 2 & Republic Commando but my fav is Republic Commando.
