Personally, I am more a fan of my digital "shelf of games" more than my actual shelf of games. My digital library is always tidy and I can always find what I want. Every game is always up to date and I really never have to worry if the game will run.

I don't want to buy anything in physical copy form (although I would like to have some CE in-game stuff or a nice collectible, but not the whole damn thing). I move somewhat frequently too (3 countries and 7 apartments in the last 2 years), so carrying anything extra with me is a no-no. So I'd go for the Steam deal.

A month ago I made a thread about buying which game first, Skyrim or Metro 2033: http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/e9q8n/skyrim-or-metro-2033
I pre-ordered Skyrim last month due to its awesome trailers and comments that I've seen here and on Reddit. Yesterday, I saw that Metro 2033 is on sale ($5 USD). I tried asking some friends if they could buy Metro 2033 for me and in return I would give them a $5 Amazon Gift Card (not a discount), but so far no luck. Now I'm thinking if I should get a virtual copy of it or a physical copy. I'm leaning towards the physical copy even though it's more expensive than the Steam sale version because I'm interested in building a collection of games. What do you guys think? Am I missing any pros and cons?
