Some days it feels like the only thing you can count on is human beings' hatred and destruction of whatever is different from the masses.
As for all these "(Inter)National X day" holidays, it's like International Women's Day, sometimes it's the one day where issues get raised so yay for that but ultimately, wouldn't it just be better if we just all paid more attention to people around us not because of a calendar date once a year?
Just for that, I'll get my lady a bunch of black roses and tickets to one of her fave goth bands... next week when it's not a special "you should care today" day.

It give that "days for everything" more and more with each year. For each shit and the few ones that are important don't peak out of the mass anymore.
Father day, mother day, Valentins day (and many many more).. i don't celebrate it. I don't visit/phone call my parents at the father/mother day because it is THE DAY.
I visit them, phone call them or give them presents all over the year when I want it and when I think it fits, when I want make them happy, when I want show them that i love them and that they are good parents.
I don't need others that say me NOW is THE DAY. And i don't need all the marketing (seller) stuff around that created days (that they can sell more and more things that the most of the people don't really need)

Few days ago I watched this movie called Bomb City based on actual events. Movie doesnt let you know a lot about Punk subculture but It has a cool speech by Marilyn Manson during the start & the end of the movie.

That's fucking stupid. I hate how everything has to have a day. Holidays are awful enough as they are, Why does everyday have to be a fake holiday too.
