Borderlands 2 GOTY worth it comparing to Borderlands 2 Standard?

No it wont, there are different mac and pc copys, which is why I have three duplicates in my steam library, because there is a PC version and a Mac version.

they won't stop releasing. this game shouldn't die that soon

I wouldn't buy Borderlands 2 GoTY until they've released all content.

But if you want the standard game, then go for it. Now is as good a time as any as you can buy the DLCs later if you enjoy the game enough to want to give Gearbox more of your money.

They already said there won't be any more big DLCs.

You might have goofed on those hours there.

I've only spent 34 hours on the game but thats mostly the base game and even then I'm not even halfway through the game.
