Most certainly I can. If people don't even have the decency to say "thank you" for something they got for FREE, then to hell with them. You act like I'm sort of slave to everyone else, well you're dead wrong there chief - my giveaway, my rules, I expect nothing except a bit of gratitude.

Well you've pretty much hit the nail on the head as to why I don't create public giveaways, too many ungrateful dipshits. I prefer group giveaways to people that appreciate what you do, rather than snatching and running because hey... fuck you that's why. I'm simply saying that if I did create a public giveaway and people didn't have the common courtesy to show a bit of spine and gratitude, I wouldn't send them the gift. Period. The fact that flarnot not only expresses ingratitude about his win but also doesn't see the point in expressing gratitude to those that create giveaways -- well, I won't be losing any sleep over him not winning anything. In fact, I may even sleep a little bit better tonight. Thanks flarnot!
Oh and you can stop acting like staff now. I love how suddenly I'm the enemy just because I have some decency and expect the same from others. Oh well, can't change people's behaviour >_>

Who says people that win public giveaways don't show gratitude? I've received thanks for all the games I've given away.
Oh, and whether I'm support or not is completely irrelevant.
EDIT: My comment had nothing to do with this topic it was just because you suggested it was possible to reroll if someone doesn't say thanks. People see that and file support tickets making everything slow down.

I always make it a point to thank the person gifting a game to me after he has sent the key/gift and most of my wins were public. There is no point in adding another thanks when there are pages of the same thing .. over supply :P I can understand in case of group giveaways with less than a dozen participants but seriously .. calm down.

I'm perfectly calm. I refuse to send gifts to ungrateful entrants, it's that simple and has nothing to do with being "calm", you guys are the ones getting all pissy at me over it. Guilty conscience perhaps? Regardless, I don't care if I get banned for my opinion, ungrateful entrants don't receive the wins.

Well, if its a public giveaway, it is not your rules that count, it's steamgift's rules. So if the winner did not thank you, and you don't send the gift. You are the one that's breaking rules. But I also dont like when people don't say thanks in my giveaways.

I was raised to say thanks after receiving something, not before hand. :/ Could this be why I haven't won either? xD Guess I better start for now on thanking people "for the opportunity". God, that phrase is said way to much, you know there is little to no meaning behind it.

Ive entered over 2000 now and ive only won 1 cheap and rubbish game, when i saw the Galactic Arms Race giveaway i was sure i was going to win my second game but obviously i had to lose. am i being really unlucky or have i been banned from winning or something
