Question about points

When someone makes a giveaway, everyone gets 5% points right?
But do group giveaways, and private giveaways also give you points?

As i know private don't count till few entries. Not sure.

Nope. Because of the reason simonli stated. The only 2 people in a group "gift" a valve complete pack back and forth 10 times to give themselves a ton of points? Nope, that's just a recipe for exploitation.

The mods, after you create a questionable thread or giveaway and users look at your giveaways and see that you've received something then check your Steam profile and see that it's not in your games list then complain that you're not following the rules.

Private and group giveaways don't give points because of spam protection. Once a public giveaway is made everyone will get a small amount of points, group/private=0 for everyone
