Hypercam should work for what you need. Not a great program but it works.

Do you need video or just pictures?
If you just need pictures, the PrintScreen button on your keyboard works, it copies the current screen to the clipboard where it can be pasted into your favorite photo editing program (or even into MSpaint). If you have raptr, there is a screenshot button that works anywhere including in folders or your desktop (or games).

I need a recording program to show that a guy who gave me negative feedback was fake. Fraps' recording is only available in games from what I know, and camstudio was horrible. I wanted to know which one is good for something like recording on a website or desktop. Thanks for reading and help is appreciated. EDIT: it has been solved. Thanks for the help guys :D
