How many games do you, on average, buy for a console?

Anyhooo, personally, outside of Steam I don't purchase too many games.

The ATARI 2600 VCS was a console, and there were games made for that console. These days, it seems games are made and then "consolized" so that they can be played on consoles. In this way, the manufacturers manage to convince people to keep spending money on consoles and games, year after year. (Sort of like the car industry....)

Frankly, I'd rather just play "real" games on my computer.
