its a known bug, i never encountered it though. but heres a possible solution (not the same part, but still should work):
"I just played this level and had the same problem (although I had a pistol in both slot 1 and 2). I solved it by moving the mouse down like you're supposed to, and at the same time I mashed both the 1 and 2 keys, as well as the left and right mouse button. This caused me to draw, fire and shoot him by luck. I may also have mashed the A and D keys to dodge.

:) no ... I won't let this happen ... I am just discovering the whole series. I started by accident with Gunslinger and continued with this one. I am curious about what's coming ^^

Hey there ... finally I made it to the last chapter. And now I am asking for a hint ;)
I am here but I don't manage to get may hands on the gun and to shoot.
Does anyone know, what keys to hit? This really sucks, as autosave was before the cutscene and the cutscene cannot be skipped ^^
