Some body I've never heard of, traded with, or even heard of left me a nasty negative rep on my trade profile. I don't know who the person is, nor have I ever traded with them. Tried to add them via steam to discuss why they left me the -rep, when I've never even spoken to them before, but they aren't accepting.

I know on the old board a topic with information on how to get the fake rep removed existed, but for the life of me I can't seem to find that topic any longer and the FAQs don't really seem to list what is necessary to include in your support ticket to get the rep removed.

Kind of discouraging in all honesty as I try my best to be a fair trader only to have some troll come along and give me a negative for no reason just rubs me the wrong way.

yeah I'm not sure why he hasn't been banned already, seems to be a troll at the very least. No idea why he'd decide to target me with anything, since I've never interacted with him under that name or any of his alias.

Some people just do things which make zero sense..

Congrats on "buying" 778 positive feedback without ever getting reported for it!
Mad skillz! :)

:facedesk:

That being said, this thread is awfully close to being a calling out thread, best to close it and wait for a staff response :X

i'm not calling him out, I was actually interested in how to get that rep removed, I remember the old boards required certain information and I just couldn't remember what that was.. Nor can I find the topic with what was required on the new board.

I never actually called him out by name, I just presented the situation, if someone decides to do a little investigative work on their own and discovers the persons' name I'm not really calling them out.. Although I suppose I can close it down, I'd hate to get suspended.

It's usually 1: Overly lenient policies (like a certain someone that somehow can't manage to remain perma-suspended) or, most notable, 2: people simply not reporting the infractions.

I had a level 5 user I got perma-suspended just a few days ago, because they had 27 outstanding Non-Activations because noone had ever reported them before.

Always remember to SGTool check your winners before sending them games.. >_<
