When I sell items, instead of Paypal people can buy a Dota2 from me in the market place and after the transaction has been successful, I send the code or whatever.

Then this happens this morning:

Me: Hello. Dota is in the Steam store. I selected $2.66 for the seller, steam added a transaction fee.
Other guy: Hi. I do. I allready have dota 2 key, so i will just pay you by paypal. I'll do it when i'll back from work. Just send me an e-mail.

Anyways, how does the transaction fees differ between Paypal and Steam Market?

Paypal has no flat fee, only a conversion fee if you use different currencies. Steam takes a flat 15% of your money.

I thought Paypal's fee for money transfers - unless it was sent as a gift - was 30 cents + 2% of the total amount sent?

If you transfer from your paypal account to a friend's paypal account, there are no fees - maybe fubarnocaps is right about the currency conversion fees, but for 10euro transfers, you won`t even notice those.

Hmm, this is what I was talking about - click:
"€0.00 EUR fee if you use your PayPal balance and/or a bank account."
