Monitor Question When In-Game

Okay, so when I first setup my monitor there was a 1 inch black border around it, I fixed this though. But, that black border appears when I'm playing Steam games and it's bugging me? What do I do, I have the AMD CCC, and I can't seem to find it anywhere online.

what game are you speaking of? COH? there is a fix you have to add -refresh 60 to the properties and should work with others

Well so far in the two games I've tried, Darksiders and BioShock. But, I'm assuming this is going to happen with every game? I need a fix.

no just with games that do not have 60 refresh rate

well if you have a game and its having the resolution set to 1920x1080 and you see the box you might wanna give it a try

Isn't that just a problem with the game resolution, which you can just fix by going into the game options and changing it to your monitor size?
