I bought the game for myself since it looked cool and then figured I'd buy another one and give it away here.
Decided to check the bundle list and noticed it isn't in there but when I wanted to create the giveaway it doesn't show up.

Did I miss something?

It was prolly given away for free at some point, that's usually the reason behind not being able to create a ga.

It is early access and added to Steam only 3 months ago so I am not completely sure they had the time to do that.

It's on the list -- http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/pJRbR/can-we-have-a-list-of-games-that-cannot-be-created-as-giveaway-unofficial-list-inside
So ya, probably free at some point. Which is a shame cause I'd of entered that giveaway..

It was free at some point. I recall getting it for free, though I don't remember if it was a giveaway or if it was free because I owned Orion: Prelude

I believe developers gave away 10,000 copies when it released or before

It had 100 free copies or 1000 on their page if you just subscribe with your mail, however I never got one of those keys. But they also gave 10 000 keys on YouTube I think and they were seperate in 7 different rounds I think, so I got mine there. So the copies were given away before the game was even released on Steam.

Well bummer.. Thanks for the answers.

That list should be more visible though, and I think if the dev gave away 10k keys then keys should be impossible to give away and not gifts but meh.

What would be nice if all games were listed in the dropdown when you enter the name, then if it's not allowed it would tell you if it was selected.

That said I think games that have had giveaways like that should be allowed to be posted. Either after a waiting period, or something. Keep hearing about the "flood" of em, but if that bothers you, just ignore the game, done. Let people who missed the deal or whatever still have their chance :/ I mean they give out 10k keys before it was even Beta and now it's never giftable for however many years it will be around, even if they never give out another free key again.. seems broken :/

Yeah, true! :/
I liked Orion:Prelude and it was definitely worth its money.
Then I wanted to try and win Guardians of Orion on here, so I put it on my wishlist.
No wonders why I never found open giveaways for the game :P

the bundle list only has games that can be used for giveaways.

you have to chech the ga creation page each time you want to give away something.

btw if you bought it on steam, you can refund it.

Yup, free. Unfortunately, they collected a lot more emails and then never sent anything out to a great many users. I'm still pissed over that.

Same, they never sent anything to me but a friend of mine that signed up many hours later got one almost right away.

You can still trade it, create a forum giveaway or drop it in the orphan key thread.

Sigh. I just did the same thing. Asking for a refund. I never got the free key I was promised, either.
