I really like steam, and these Steam Wallet Codes seem like such a great idea, unfortunately for me, I live in Mexico, do any of you know if there's a way to obtain these here? Are they hidden away in some store because no one ever buys them? What's the deal??

Thanks!

Do you have 7-Eleven in Mexico? You can get them there in the US.

wowowo--what? you mean steam wallet cards / codes or the pasysafe cards?
I live in Argentina and I'm on the same problem as the OP; nothing is available here and I don't have CreditCard, Debit, Paypal, Neteller, webmoney or anything that could help us validate/verify Steam Wallet.

I'm interested in knowing why you think he (and I, for the matter) can't use them to buy games outside the US.

your best bet is use a debit card and link it to paypal
that's how i do it

So you've checked every possibility and the one and only thing we could do is use an international credit card (debit is no good here in Argentina, bc of the dollar "constrain"). Crap! I was gathering 4500 coins on tremor, so I could buy a steam wallet code (5 dollars) to ACTIVATE my steam wallet, thus be able to use market!

the fast way for me was that
luckily for me my debit card worked, for some of my friends didn't worked
i haven't tried tremor games, but if you can buy wallet with those points, you can do the market thing and sell cards and other marketable things.
try this page http://www.maximuscards.com/index.php/site/index
in that page you can buy steam wallet cards and accept argentinian peso

I've bought a few games from a national site, think is just one or two persons though and he sends you the games as gifts, there are no steam keys. Payment method is pretty much the only one left if you don't have CC or PP accounts; throught rapipago or pagofacil. Go a local store with a printed QR-like receipt, pay, money forwarded to the website owner, in 24-48 hs he sends you the gift, with a fee ofc. Game list is limited, and not all offers are there, you can ask for them but since many steam offers are time limited, you dont get them in time. I'll check the link you'vre provided, thanks :)
