when you open a giveaway in your browser, then click enter, it technically moves you two pages foward. so.. in order to get back to the main page he has to click 'back' twice. steamgift add-on fixes all of that with quick view!

Mousewheel press to open giveaway with a new window. Problem solved.

He means you have to go back twice after entering a giveaway.
