Hey!

So I#ve got 10 bucks left on my PP account and am asking myself which I've gotta buy. I always enjoy good MP titles (which Payday 2 obv. is) but also classic like all the titles which are included in the Apogee Throwback Pack.

I'm kinda afraid that the pack will be pulled off the store some time soon, so I might better hurry? Or is this not the case? I've seen enough titles going off the store recently, so that might explain my anxiety regarding this.

SO! what would you choose?

Well, I would have said anything but Payday 2 a while back. I, along with many other people had a lot of issues with the network on it, and could never keep it steadily connected to and team. Couple that with the fact that the AI is completely terrible, and if you play solo, you only get two of the AI with you instead of 3. Recently I started playing again, and even have gotten a few friends of mine to buy it while it is on sale, and there has been no issues at all, the updates through the course of time have been pretty solid and seem to have fixed a lot of the game that was "broken" in a sense before. I would definitely recommend getting it while it is on sale, and if you can, get all the DLC as well.

The Apogee Throwback Pack is retro, but I'd go for Payday 2 for sure. Mind you I have aforementioned Pack myself and the four included games boil down to two and both have aged horribly.

I really couldn't recommend payday 2 enough right now. The recent updates have made it an entire new game, I have owned it since launch and have playing it since. Their is some fantastic DLC, I recommend getting armored transport if you see it go on sale, and the dev's have recently released a trailer promising four new huge heists within the coming months, the first being June 17th.

If you have friends to play with, or are willing to deal with an occasionally burdensome multiplayer community, try Payday 2. I remember that there were some idiots back when I was playing Payday 2 online, but for the most part it's pretty good. I haven't played the Apogee bundle- it was before my time, and I haven't gone back to grab it, but it could be a fine option too.
