Dota 2 - Is this a full game? or just a beta that will eventually expire soon?

dota 2 is full game ... !!

Are you sure? it mentions "get a free dota 2 invite" on the actual Dota 2 steam page, so i'm assuming all these giveaways are betas and not full games. I won Dota 2, and the giveaway even mentions "beta key" which i activated on steam fine.

It doesn't mention beta in my steam library, but it doesn't show the game at all in my community profile (games).

after release Dota 2 will be Free 2 Play.

Dota2 is free2play game that you can pay to play now, or count on your luck to get one from survey, or wait for that day when nobody will buy invites from Valve, so they will say "so-called beta-phase is finished, now everyone can play".

It is a full game, you are simply earning an early access of it because the game will be free soon.
