Hi!
First of all, apologize my english, i'm french..

I've seen scripter arnt allowed here. Ofc i get it.
But what about UX script? e.g I do farm steamcard.
A script which display a steam trading card icon under the concerned giveaway would be really helpful to me.

In the simplest possible way: Bot arn't allowed. But does every kind of script/manipulation arn't?

Hello grith76, and welcome to SteamGifts.

There are plenty of scripts that are allowed, just no auto-entry ones.

Examples:

While you're getting used to everything else, please make sure you stop and take a look at the FAQ and guidelines.

From those guidelines:

Scripts should not be used to automatically enter into giveaways. This includes scripts that enter multiple giveaways at once, or scripts that enter giveaways while you are away.

Any idea why they removed the bit about "machine generated content" being against the rules from the site guidelines?
I nearly posted no auto-entry and no auto-commenting until I realized that part was removed.

I only got "basics" .js skills, so i don't know ^^
But i guess a DIY bot made by myself must be really easy to deal with lol

Also your English is better than my French, no need to feel bad at all.

I guess they do :) I havn't even shared one here, but as student i will only share bundle or "budget" game here. Is there a lot of community managers? Or just generous john doe?

I do not feel bad^^ But i just expect people to understand what i'm sayin. And sometimes, i guess read something messy must be a no go ^^

They sure do. The most I've seen so far was one user who gave away 1200 different games at the same time.

it was absolutely wonderful and a bit terrifying at the same time. It was only terrifying in that I kept running out of points and hoping I would get through the list before time ran out :D

the script ESGST mentioned previously has the tags function. In its settings under section 8. Games > 24. Trading cards. It will show up under giveaway game titles.

Another very helpful function of ESGST is the train extractor. "Trains"refer to a giveaways with a link to the following (hidden) giveaway. Without the script you would have to click on every giveaway seperatly, while Enhanced Steam Gifts will show you a list of all the games. While this doesn't seem that special, some of those trains contain 100 or more games and often a lot of shovelware.

That "train" are mainly in the discussions? or mainly on the classic gift place?
