Wanted to say thanks to the folks who gave laptop recs

Especially the fact that people took me seriously in wanting a gaming laptop.

I ended up getting this laptop, with the 1TB HDD and Windows 7 Home Premium added. A bit more than I intended to spend, but it was the only one that didn't have some major drawback.

Nice laptop looking at the specs. Even better that you can still upgrade come parts. I just hope that it's able to keep up with heavy gaming without overheating too much though.

For the price it looks decent, although I've heard Sager laptops are really loud... Gaming laptops are possible, but expect to spend more than you would on a similarly performing PC...

Hmm well what I see is Laptops being more affordable. I guess same model i7 mobility to the dekstop is less speed but more than enough. But, the thing is heat and air flow that's the thing to be careful. Some don't valvue it as much as others because they seem to think people want ''quiet laptops'' rather than well non overheating.

Who says I care about quiet? Effective at keeping cool is far superior to being quiet.

That and no laptop is likely to be louder than the AC/heater unit in my house. That thing is obnoxiously loud.
