Feels like playing Fallout 4 mostly since Fallout 76 was developed from that game. Completing the story quests feel as if I am experiencing single player mode because most quests are not that memorable and players want to finish them quickly, but world events (boss fights, Expeditions, seasonal events, etc) is experiencing an MMO-style game. There is no chat system in the game and instead the communication system relies on emotes, so I installed the Text Chat mod. Many other players use the mod and has been a huge quality of life improvement to make the game feel more alive.

Not best, but i spend like 200+ hours on R6 Siege and 140 hours on KF2. Also i spend 665 hours on EAFC 24 - that rotten Ultimate Team modegot me addicted, i am glad that i didnt bought that garbage this year. Feel like recovering alcoholic with this crap.

Well, I've always loved platformers, and this one is a great multiplayer platformer. Great graphics, fun physics, high skill ceiling, can be fun alone and with friends/randoms.
As a side note, although there's FOMO in it like most other live service games, it's purely cosmetic. As opposed, for example, to Marvel SNAP or other CCG's which I've loved to play in the past, but the FOMO is too great in them for actual game progress, not just cosmetics. Missed a day? Feels bad. Don't want to miss any day? Feels like work.

I've heard they're done with It or just 1 season left since the sequel is near.
The beauty of It is that It doesnt rely on main servers or seems like It.

Nah they are just slowing down, it's small team after all. The "stopping updates" is just doom & gloom, not very rock & stone.
Besides if you are new player you will have 5 seasonpasses to do since they unlocked those. Used to play hardcore and one season can take up to 100 hours depending what difficulty you play. Or not, you can literally unlock everything with save edits - there's no anticheat and they support mods.

The Division 2! I love that game, it's just a really well crafted game in a lot of ways, especially for Ubisoft, lol... and one of the few live service games I enjoy. I just recently started playing again, and got Warlords of New York expansion on the latest sale, just about $10 CAD.

+1 for Warframe. it's my standout recommendation for anyone looking for a game to jump into. It has so much free content, (relatively) frequent updates, and the devs are super wholesome and very involved in the community. Don't get me wrong--it's definitely a grind, but I'm close to getting all of the achievements on steam and i will still keep playing as long as they release content because I love the game :P
Other games I have sunk a lot of time (1000+ hrs) into and still play are team fortress 2, fortnite, dead by daylight, and deep rock galactic. they are all great games too, i just wouldn't recommend them as strongly.

I guess Fate/Grand Order on mobile will count, as a gacha game. Otherwise I don't really play such games. Permanently online titles are a pain in the arse when my connection sucks, but a disconnect in FGO just means at worst I'll be restarting a round in the turn based combat, it isn't real time or PvP.
Approaching 5 years playing FGO, only a couple more months away. Even my next most played gacha didn't get near as much play time before I dropped it.

Of all the games mentioned so far, Fall Guys and The Division 2 are my favorites.
But, if ESO counts, I've certainly got more time invested in that than any other.

Warframe, but I took a break from it about a year ago, only occasionally logging in for rewards etc.
Had 2800 hours.
It's a good game with excellent monetization. Nearly everything is earnable for a free player.
Also has a great community focussed dev team, their streams are fun too.
I just got bored eventually even though there were still plenty of things I hadn't done yet.
MR 28/30 IIIRC.
Now it's The First Descendant with 915 hours to satisfy that itch.
MR 28/29
Used to play The Division a lot, the 2nd one kind of left me cold despite the sunnier environment 😉
Had 470 hours in Helldivers but then I got fed up with the developer and their stupid descisions and ingame price hikes, ie. farmable stuff needed more ingame currency etc, bad quality releases with constant crashes and troll mechanics.
Stopped playing in Dec 2024.
On Xbox I had over 30k matches in World of Tanks.
They eventually killed it when they got rid of the UI and replaced it with an inferior version for monetary reasons (licence fees)
Took them years to make it about on par with the previous one.
And it got more and more pay2win with overpowered Premium tanks being far superior to the Tech Tree ones.
Wasn't fun any more. They drove off tons of other players too.
Classic example of how to shoot yourself in the foot.

The First Descendent looks very good. I install it right now.

If I may, when you start you have a choice of Starter Descendant. Choose one of the females.
The male Descendants are weaker for various reasons :/
Edit:
Is your name a reference to the movie or the song?
I enjoyed both of them back then.

let it die, 1.6k+ hours on steam alone (and i think about 700 on ps) i love the game and its the only f2p game ive spent money on, i love it because i dont know any game like this one and i just love it like how you need to improve yourself learn the weapon moves and stuff like that, and i havent even got everything yet (probably will take another 1k hour minimum of serious gaming to even get halfway to complete end, story of the game ends at floor 40 but goes on to 351 and even more with the last updates, nvm make it 3k hours needed to fully complete this game at least)

I love Live Service Games a lot. They must have many content and a perfect gameplay, so you can spend many hours in this Game.
Atm my favourites are The Division 2 (+200hrs, best Endgame Content ever) and eFootball (+1.300hrs) . If i need a break of the games i play Assassins Creed.
What are your favourite Live Service Games and why?
